Chaper 5:A little set back

Neikolas watched me look at anything but him. Why on earth would he kiss me. If I remember correctly the last time I was here he was the one who said I was fat and he would never touch me, because I was not good enough for that.

We walked into his office,he slowly moved closer to me. I back away step by step. As he moved closer I moved further back, until there was no where else to go. My back pressed against the wall, Neiko slid his hand around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"You know running from me will never do you any good." He said arching his eyebrow at me.

I stood up straight and pushed away from him.

"I thought I would never be good enough for you to touch Neikolas..." I said trailing off and sighing.

I pushed away more, and ducked under his arm. I slowly headed for the door.

"Annamira please, I was young and very immature. I said that because Eryx had dropped you off and I saw him kiss you. I was upset, Mira I cared for you. I didn't like seeing you with him. If I knew you'd still hold on to that comment I would never had said it. Please believe me. You are beautiful in every way, just as your sister had been."
I blushed, not for him saying that but the fact he thought I was beautiful like Natalia had been. I knew she was stunning and everyone had wanted her. So to hear him say it made me feel good.

"I'm sorry Annamira. Please let me make it up to you. Let me take you somewhere sometime, like dinner or a day at the beach or something."

I smiled up at as he moved closer to me.

"Neikolas, to be honest I think your lying. This is a trick for use at a later time. So if you will excuse me." I said turning around again heading for the door.

Suddenly I was being pulled back by large arms.

"I just want you to believe me Annamira." He said spinning me around and looked down into my eyes. "Just stay let me explain. Let me talk to you."

I sighed and looked away from him. A slow lonely tear slid down my cheek.

"Mira Mira no please don't cry. I don't want to hurt you. I.. I just want to care for you." He said turning my head to him.
He spoke lowly as he came closer to my face. "I just want to take care of you."

The way her long hair fell over her wet eyes, made her look so beautiful. Everything about Annamira was beautiful, always had been. She was like no other. But that is what made me want her so bad. The mystery behind her amazing eyes, made me want to sit and listen to all the stories she had to offer. From the day I met her eight years prior, I knew I had to have this odd yet absolutely intriguing girl. I wanted to know her, know her like no one else did.

Looking down at her sad small self, I hurt. It physically hurt for me too see her like this. I didn't want her sad, just happy. Nothing but the best for someone like Mira.

"Please just let me go. I should be getting home."

I slowly let her go and followed her out the study. She walked slowly down the hall and down the stairs.

She turned as she neared the door.

"Neiko, I'll let you take me out sometime. But I'll kill you if you try to play any games with me. I put that on my sisters grave."

Quickly she turned and exited the house. Annamira was definitely something else. Yet I still wanted every part of her.

I heard Trevor coming before he even opened the door.
"Neiko, where is she?"
"I scared her off." I said simply continuing to finish some paperwork.
"You were supposed to get her to stay. Not make her never want to come back."

I looked up and arched an eyebrow at him.
"I did not say she was never coming back. I kissed her and she got scared. Annamira will be back, she just needs time now."

"You and I don't have time. She needs to trust us. Jake and them will take her from you. Neiko you need to get to her before them. Before Eryx gets to her again. Natalia was just the start, they'll come after her and my son too. I refuse to lose anyone else over this stupid shit. Get her, and get ready to leave. You have three days if it's not done by then, we'll have to make her come."

I nodded knowing he was right. I waved him away and continued to sign documents. I needed a plan and a good one, but only had three days to get it done.

Annamira was all that mattered now. The rest of her family new it as well as we did.
