"Nate, come on downstairs or you're gonna be late!"

I heard a female voice calling on to me. I knew whose voice it was, so I tucked in deeper to my bed sheets.

After a minute of continuous nap, I heard the door slammed open, which made me jump of shock. "W-what the heck?! Dad!!" I yelled, grabbing a pillow and threw it at him. Well, as expected, he caught it before it hit him- such reflex.

He chuckled, "Time to get up, son. Or else you'll see more than slamming a door open." I gulped. "Y-you don't mean. . ." My father nodded, "Yep."

". . . I'm getting up."

He laughed and gently closed the door to my bedroom. I sighed. I got on my feet and went to the mirror.

Oh, I forgot the introductions.

Hey, I'm Nathanial Parker and I'm 14. I live with my parents, who are Peter Parker and Mary Jane (Watson) Parker, and with my little sister- Marie Parker.

I inherited father's hair color and brains, but my eye color's blue-green. My skin is a bit of a tan, or even a bit of a fair one. I don't know, I can't really tell.

I'm complicated .__.

Right now, I got in my usual clothes- which are a dark red hoodie and dark blue pants, with my red converse. I packed my books into my green-checkered Jansport, and hurriedly opened the door and went downstairs. Only to be greeted by a flying pancake that hit me once I touched the first floor.

Great.

"Good morning, too, Marie." I wiped the pancake off my face as I glared at her.

All she returned to me was her tongue sticking out at me.

And right, I think you need to know about her.

Her name's-- oh wait, you already know her. Well, let's skip from that. Her age's 7, and also inherited our father's intelligence. She has a dark brownish-red hair with bangs that went below her eyebrows. She also have the same eye color as me. Right now, she's wearing her favorite pink sweater, because of the printed Dad's-- I mean, Spiderman's mask at front. She's also wearing her white above-the-knee skirt, and has her loose brown boots with black stockings that went below her knee. And, uh, she can also be a dork at times. What I'm saying is, she's 50-50. But her way of pranking someone, is pure genius.

Erhm, earlier, that wasn't pretty smart of her to throw a pancake at me like that. But it's already too late, she got me after all!

I sighed. If only I inherited my father's abilities- or so you call - his Spider Powers. Sounds a bit childish, if you ask me.

Dad can't really tell when I'm gonna be like him, but after so many times of asking him, it seemed like he wished I won't inherit them in the future. The reason why I asked him of so many times is that, I'm really really REALLY pumped for it!

Heh, who wouldn't be excited to have such powers? > w >

"Good morning, Nate. How was your sleep? Ready for your first day at Midtown High?" Mother smiled, as she prepared my lunch.

I shrugged, "It was great, until someone ruined it." I glared at dad. He was drinking his cup of- as I can smell -coffee, while reading the newspaper. The cover was about how Spiderman saved five kids from a building that was on fire. He looked up from it to glance at me, and raised his left eyebrow. "What?"

I shook my head. "And about school, I'm not really up for it-" "Nate." "-b-but In reality, I'm excited to meet new friends!" And new bullies. I sighed at the thought.

Dad rolled his eyes and continued reading. I internally stuck out a tongue at him.

"Nate." Marie called.

"What now, little devil?" I teased.

"Don't call me that or you're really gonna get it. And school'll start soon. So," she grabbed her Barbie (ew!) backpack and pushed me towards the door, "better get moving." "Hey! My lunch!"

Heyya :)
