Well the day started just like any other, me sleeping my older brother yelling bloody murder for me to get up, you know, the usual.

So I'm finally up and ready. I put on a purple plain v-neck and skinny jeans. My long blonde curly hair is down laying on my back. I hate wearing make up, but put on eye liner and mascara anyway.

I pull into school 5 minutes late. "Shit," I mutter under my breath.

I walk into the office and the lady gets me my 3rd pass this week.

"You know that if you keep getting tardie you WILL end up getting detention," she says.

"I know."I mutter under my breath.

I walked out and was about to go to my first class, when the most amazing smell hit my nose. It smelt like the ocean and lavender had a baby.

I was following it when my face connected with a hard chest. I, of course, fell on my butt. I was about to get up when someone grabbed me and hugged me.

"Can't breath," was all I got out.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry," the guy said.

He put me down and I looked him over.

HOT DAMN!!' my fox, Jewels, said.

He was about 6'6, dark hair he left messy, the face of a god, he had a tight shirt on so I could easily see his 6 pack, and his eyes were this amazing shade of emerald green.

When I was done looking him over, I saw he was doing the same to me.

When he noticed me looking, he snapped out of it and sniffed the air. A look of pure confusion came over his face.

As you can probably tell... I don't smell like a wolf or a human. So I know why my mate was confused, but I can't tell him, not yet.

He finally spoke.

"Um.. Hi. I'm Blake. I'm new." The way he looked scared to death was so cute.

"Hi I'm Topaz." I said smiling. I couldn't tell him I knew about weres cuz then he would know I'm not human..... So I guess I'm playing human.

We talked for a minute be for we turned to leave, when he walked in.
