Topaz's POV

It was.... Jake.

He had a gun to my head, with a look of pure crazy in his eyes.

You know how you can look at someone and just tell they belong in the mental hospital, well that's how I felt looking at Jake.

I heard Blake's voice from behind me say "What the hell are you doing here pointing that at my mate?"

Jake's horrific laugh rang through the air. "Your mate? YOUR MATE?!?! She is mine and will always be!" He yelled at my mates.

"I was never yours! We dated, yes, but I thought we both knew that if one of us found our mates it was over!" I yelled back.

"You were wrong! I came back to tell you I found my mate, but I rejected her for you!! I love you Topaz! Why can't you see that?" He looked broken.

I knew it that moment that he really was crazy, who rejects their mate for a petty high school crush?

Thankfully at that moment my brother came in and saw what was happening and took a frying pan (as cliche as it sounds) and hit him in the back of the head.

As rude and weird as it seems, I started laughing and I couldn't stop. All the stress from the last two days and finally just snapped.

I then started crying, balling. My mates rushed to comfort me in warm hugs.

Maybe now I can get a little bit of sleep and peace and quiet, with my mates of course.

It was great and all but I didn't really have a plan for it so it was just falling apart, but I am going to write another book. It's not a sequel, but it should be a trilogy. Please check it out was it's published!!
