Chapter 1 - My best friend's obsession

Landry's P.O.V.

It was an ordinary day and I was walking down the school hallways. I've just had art class which was my favourite class. I walked up to my locker and opened it to switch books for the next period. All of a sudden my best friend Lauren came up behind me.

"You can never guess what we're doing on saturday evening!" She said excitedly.

"What are we doing?" I said as I turned around to face her.

"You and me are going to see Forever In Your Mind in New York! Ahh, I can't believe that I'll finally see them" Lauren said and jumped up and down excitedly.

"Lauren, I'm not going to the concert. They are just a stupid boyband and I hate them, you know that" I said.

"Please Landry, You know how much I love them and I don't want to go alone. If you come with me, I'll do whatever you want with you on sunday and we could spend the whole day in New York before the concert" Lauren said and looked at me with puppy eyes.

"Okay fine... I'll go with you. But only because you're my best friend. I won't enjoy a second of it though" I said and sighted. I could never resist those puppy eyes plus I know how obsessed she is with them. She literally talked about them all the time and always played their music.

"Thanks, you're the best friend ever! And don't say you won't because I'm going to make sure you have a good time" She said and hugged me.

"We'll see about that" I said, chuckled and hugged her back.

We then walked to english class together as we were in the same class this period. We were doing a project in english at the moment and I was working together with Lauren. I opened my notebook and looked over at Lauren.

"So how are we going to do this?" I asked her but she were in a whole different world "Lauren!" I said and nudged her.

"Huh yeah?" She slowly came back from her daydream.

"Don't tell me you were dreaming about that band again" I said and sighed.

"Well I am, and I can't help it because they are so dreamy... Especially Emery. Gosh he's so hot and I'm way into older guys." She said and smiled.

"They are not that hot..." I said and looked down at my notebook.

"Uhm yes they are! If you have to choose one of them, who do you think is the most good looking? she said.

"I'd not choose anyone, besides I don't even know their names" I said.

"Come on, just look at this picture and point at who you think are the most good looking" she said and showed me a picture of them on her phone.

"Fine..." I sighed and looked at the picture. "I guess the one in the middle is kind of good looking" I said.

"Oh that's Ricky! Actually you two would be soo cute together" She said.

"Just because I said he was good looking doesn't mean that I want to date him because  I don't, he's so not my type. Can we continue on our project now?" I said.

"Okay fine" She said and we started to work on our project.
