Chapter 19 - 100 Dresses & one kid

Landry's P.O.V.

It was now te 30th of July. Me and Ricky had been together for almost 2 weeks and it had been magical. Tomorrow Ricky and the other's in FIYM were going to attend Teen Choice Awards 2016. Ricky had asked me to be his plus one date and I had answered that I'd love that. Now we just had arrived in LA's most exclusive shopping area as I didn't had any fancy dress with me. Ricky said that he wanted to spoil me and make me feel like a princess at the award show. As we walked down the shopping street I felt that I stood out from the other people who was going there. I mean I was only a normal girl and I was not wearing as fancy brands like most other people here. Ricky led me to a store which sold thousands of different dresses. They were shiny, sparkly and sheer dresses in the nicest material. I've never been a dress kind of girl and enjoys being casual, but being in here was like being in dress heaven. It really brought out the girl inside of me. All of a sudden a woman in her mid 30's came up to us.

"Can I help you two with something?" She asked.

"We're going to an award show tomorrow and my girlfriend Landry needs a dress" Ricky said.

"I see well follow me young lady and we'll see what size you are to begin with" She said.

"Okay" I said and followed her.

Just then a small toddler boy who was about 4-5 years old came up to the woman and started pulling her leg.

"Mommy.... I want ice cream" He said.

"Not now Charlie. Mommy's working but if you are a good boy you'll get an ice cream when we go home okay? Now go play with your toys" The woman said.

"Okay mommy" The boy said and walked away.

The woman turned back to me and started to measure me as she asked me questions.

"So what kind of dress are you looking for?" She asked.

"Well I want it to represent me. Like I'm not that much of a dress person or girly girl. I want it to be abit edgy so that I still feel that I'm myself you know but still like appropriate for the occasion" I said.

The woman nodded and started to look through the racks of dresses. I looked over at Ricky who was sitting in a couch. The little toddler boy sat beside the couch with his toys and looked up at Ricky once in a while. The woman started to make me try on different dresses but always looking over at the todder. In the corner of my eyes I could see that Ricky had started to talk with the little boy. After a while he looked over at the woman and me.

"If you want I can take him out for a while and give him that ice cream that he wanted so that you can give your full attention to Landry and your work" He said.

"That would actually be very nice of you. Helping costumers and looking after him at the same time isn't that easy. He runs around and I'm always worried he'll ruin one of the dresses and they are worth a lot." The woman said and smiled.

"I totally get that. Do you want to go and get some ice cream?" Ricky said to the little boy named Charlie.

"Yeah! Ice cream" Charlie said.

"Be nice and behave Charlie, now that this nice boy are going with you to get ice cream" The woman said.

Charlie nodded and hugged his mom before walking outside with Ricky. I smiled after them as they walked out from the store hand in hand. So freaking cute.

"You've got yourself a really nice and sweet young man there. Treasure it and don't let him go because boys like that are hard to find in today's society" The woman turned to me and said.

"Yeah... I'm a really lucky girl..." I said and smiled.

"So let's continue trying on dresses shall we?" She asked.

I nodded and we continued. I felt like I was in a movie trying on these beautiful dresses. Looking at myself in the mirror made me feel like Cinderella.

A/N

So I originally hadn't put the little boy in here but I just wanted to add a kid so bad after what happened today in school. At my last class for the day my history teacher had his 3 year old son with him because the preschool was closed and he was so adorable 😍 I love it when teachers brings their kids to work because the lesson gets so much funnier even if the thing we are doing aren't that fun normally 😜
