Chapter 24 - The Kiss

Ricky's P.O.V.

It was now more than a week after Landry's birthday. The summer had began to end and next week she and Lauren would go back to Amityville as they soon started school again. Me and Landry were having the house to ourselves as my mom were away and visited some friends for a couple of days. It was the evening and we were about to watch a movie when I noticed that we were all out of snacks so I decided to head to the grocery store real quick. I said bye Landry and kissed her cheek before heading out. As walked towards the closest grocery store, I spotted a familiar blonde girl standing outside of a Starbucks. It was Chloe. I tried to walk past quick so that she would not notice me but it was too late.

"Omg Ricky! Hey!" She said and waved as she ran up to me.

"Hi Chloe..." I said.

"Were are you going and were's Landry?" She asked.

"To the grocery store and she stayed home..." I said.

"Oh... I see... I was actually looking for you. I need to talk to you" She said.

"Okay what's up?" I said.

"Could we go somewhere else? Like maybe into Starbucks? It's more private than out on the street" She said.

"Okay fine, but I can't stay for a long time" I said.

We walked into Starbucks and brought a drink each to blend in. We sat down at a table and I looked over at her.

"So what did you want to talk about?" I asked.

"Well us..." She said as she took a sip of her drink.

"There's no us Chloe, you broke up with me" I said.

"I know and I really regrets it... I miss you Ricky. Not being with you is killing me. I shouldn't have taken you for granted... You really successed with making me wanting you back. Using normal and innocent Landry to make me jealous really worked. You're so convincing it almost seems like you actually love her " She said and chuckled.

"You should have thought of that earlier and I do love Landry! I'm not using her for anything! I'm over you Chloe, why can't you just accept that and move over!" I said angrily.

"Ricky... I know you. You keep telling yourself that you're over me and that you love Landry but deep inside you're the same as when I broke up with you. You're the heartbroken boy who begged for me to take him back... I don't blame you because she's nothing compared to me. She doesn't deserve you, you're way to good for her. You picked the first girl you saw from the crowd of a concert and easily made her yours as all girls fall head over heels for you" She said.

"I am not heartbroken anymore because I got over you! You're the one who doesn't deserve me because you're being mean and can't accept that I have found someone new. And let me tell you one thing! It was not easy to make her fall for me! When I first met her she hated me! It took her friend to convince her to meet up with me again and then she fell for who I am and not the fact that I'm famous which most other girls does including you!" I said.

"Pff yeah sure. I know you can't resist me so stop playing those stupid games. Remember how everyone got so sad when we broke up? Well now we can make them all happy again. I mean everyone ships you with me and like no one ships you with Landry!" She said.

Before I could answer she leaned over the table and kissed me. I widened my eyes and sat there in shock for a few seconds before quickly pushing her away from me.

"What the hell are you doing! You're crazy! I don't even know why I came in here with you! Stay away from me and from Landry! You'll never success to separate us because we love eachother!" I said.

I stood up and rushed out from Starbucks. I ran as fast as I could to the grocery store and got some chips before walking back home. Once I arrived home me and Landry cuddled down in the couch and started to watch a movie. I couldn't get what had happened before with Chloe out of my head. I hate her. Luckily there was like no one in Starbucks at the moment, because who knows what could have happened if anyone saw her kissing me.

Ohh no Chloe is back and she has no good intentions 😱

I want to make one thing clear and that is that I do not hate Chloe. I know she's really sweet and nice in real life and would never do anything like this. This is only a story which is being set in an alternative universe so therefor she has an other personality. I think that Chloe is an amazing dancer and is really pretty. I also thought that she and Ricky were so adorable and cute together. I just simply wanted to create some drama in this story so I used her as the "bad" character which is only pretend. So to make it clear, everything about her character in this story is just my imagination and I know she's nothing like this in real life.

Anyways hope you guys liked the chapter. The next chapters are going to be really exciting 🙈
