Who Could That Be?

Ruby beckoned Eva in and began making breakfast. She asked Eva if she wanted some porridge and she nodded.

"So how much do you know about me?" She asked as she stirred the boiling oats. "I know both your parents died a year ago in a car crash, your older brother, Ben, or 'Jamin,' moved to America when he turned twenty two, your eighteen year old sister, Sofie, lives in a flat with her boyfriend Dan, and that's just your family." Ruby stared at Eva. "My privacy has been
violated." "Sorry, it's all in the book," said Eva shyly, only just seeming to realise that she was in the company of her favourite book character.

Ruby served up the porridge with fruit and pecans, after asking Eva if she had any allergies. They both ate quickly. Ruby had the sense that something important was about to happen, and Eva knew something important was about to happen.

"What do we do now?" Asked Ruby when they were both finished. Eva didn't have time to reply because someone was knocking on the door. "Go get changed out of the clothes you slept in, this is important," whispered Eva, jumping up to answer the door.
