We were a cliché, a Young Adult Fiction, stereotype, childhood best friends turned lovers cliché. Authors wrote our story down to the bone, hitting our lives directly on the nail - from the way the warmth of your body soothed my aching core, to the sound of my name rolling off the tip of your tongue. The girl who desperately wanted to simply be wanted and loved, only to find it in the person she least expected, who too, just wanted a hand to hold and heart to give. The blossoming idea of giving yourself to another when their hand - heart - was available within reach: two becoming one. Heartache: being the minority in comparison to the context of love and affection. Pain: what we failed to understand and believe could be achieved when we both stopped trying. We were an idiotic cliché of young boy meets young girl, who both fall helplessly in love before the peak of adulthood. A cliché that fell apart within the slip of a thread, proving to be an inaccurate representation of what was being portrayed. We were just a boy and girl, who happened to be best friends; that may or may not have been in love in the first place.

This novel is going to be split into two parts or two short stories. One, being, Illusion, a story in which I previously began publishing on Wattpad during the beginning of this 2016th year, but took down before it was finished. The first few chapters of part one within this story will be chapters from Illusion - with minored alterations. For those who have read Illusion when it was up, I ask you please to refrain from commenting any spoilers that you can remember. I appreciate you having a great memory and for being curious as to what is to come; however, I don't want it to be spoiled for new readers. Also, I can guarantee what you remember from the original/rough draft version of Illusion will be different than this final piece. I do appreciate you returning to read the final draft.
