The weather is foggy
Wet and drenching
This makes most people groggy
But it's a true delight for me as I go for a walk wrenching
The gate open
My tennis shoes automatically getting soaked
I ignore the soggy feeling
And feel droplet strokes
Down my cheeks they flow
While I watch the stormy rain clouds
Walking down the pavement I go
Not caring how incredibly wet are my shrouds
The smell of wet street
Permeates the area
Cold is my face, arms, and feet
As I kick at a
Puddle
Freezing and beautiful
It unravels my mind from it's usual muddle
And I'm grateful for the rain

PoetryI'm an okay poet. Some are sad and others really cheery! My rhymes can be pretty weak, though... but nonetheless, I hope you enjoy!!!
