Daffodil Pond

When I have no where to go

When I have lost all hope

I don't waste time being slow

On my way to Daffodil Pond

Peaceful is this place

I go to when troubled

Serene and full of grace

My non-existent happiness comes back and doubles

Plenty of flowers build a shrine

The air is nor too hot or cold

The sound of the birds and wind, so divine

Doe and fawn frolicking through the fold

Ducklings follow their mother

The calmness of the pond take over

I wish I could show others

But then Daffodil Pond would be ruined

All the fragile creatures would flee

Scared and shocked they would be

If this place was interrupted

So I keep it a secret

For the animals, the atmosphere, for me

I'll keep it
