Mystics and stars (rise of the guardians)

Ch. 3

*jack's pov*

I was in Russia spreading fun around to all the kids. I felt a small tug in my mind. I smiled realizing it was lily. The I frowned realizing that I was late for our meeting and I was tied up for a week here. I sighed and went back to having fun.

I rushed to North's shop as manny had called an emergency meeting. "What's up?" I said lounging on the desk as tooth, sandman, bunny, an north fretted. "We aren't sure." North said. "Guardians, there will be a new one joining you soon. Pitch is growing strong again." We heard manny say before fading away. "A new guardian! I wonder who it will be!" Tooth said excitedly. Sandy smiled then frowned when he looked at me. Symbols raced around his head. "Sandy slow down." I said. He huffed before signing "I'm sorry. Your friend is gone. The wolves took her." "What do you mean?" I asked. Sandy grabbed my hand leavin the others talking about the new guardian. We entered a cemetery and sandy lead me to a beautiful stone shaped as a dragon standing on its back legs with its wings spread wide. At the base read "in memory of lily black. She will forever be in our hearts. 1996-2012." I gasped and fell to the ground which had yet to grow grass. "No. Not lily." I said sobbing. Sandy patted my shoulder before leaving me. Wiping the few tears away I quickly flew to Jamie's house. Looking in I saw him starring sadly into the fire holding a picture frame. I tapped on the window. When he turned and saw me tears welled in his eyes. I frosted the glass and wrote I'm sorry. He nodded and sighed before turning back to his picture. I walked to the clearing. I stood there for a few minutes before a I heard a russling sound "Who's there!" I said as turning quickly toward sound. "Only the guardian of the mystics." a voice said softly. "Who?" I said Turning to find the source o the voice. "Never mind. But I do have some people I want you to meet. They are snow sprites. They wish to be your companions and help spread winter across the world." the voice said calmly that was when I noticed the panther. "Why can I not see you and who is the panther?" I said concerned. "He won't harm you. And I do not want you to see me." the voice said simply before letting the sprites out." These are your companions. Their queen is the one on your head. Take good care of them. You don't want me angry!" the voice said. Then the panther turned and raced away. I was shocked to see light brown hair, much like lilys, appear on the panthers back before it disappeared.
