Wedding Plans

The next morning Jane had taken Sabra shopping to find the floral arrangements for the wedding reception but when they were at the florist the only thing that was on Sabra’s mind was Danny he had called her earlier to say hi and enquire if she was going to be able to do lunch today because he couldn’t stand to wait until Saturday to see her again but she graciously declined stating she had plans for the day.

She was going to choreograph a beautiful dance after she was finished shopping for the arrangements with Jane it was going to take at least one week to complete the dance and she would have to get an early start today with the girls but that was going to be a very difficult task to complete if she didn’t keep her head on and finish with Jane on time. “Okay Sabra tell me exactly what’s on your mind because it’s definitely not the lilies.”

Jane said blatantly. “I’m sorry, I had lunch with Danny yesterday and I have dinner plans with him Saturday it’s not a big deal so don’t get all excited okay.”

“Okay if you say so but how was it?” Jane questioned excitedly. “You just can’t help yourself can you, it was great he brought lunch we went to this great spot in the park hidden behind a cliff and then we held hands and walked through the park eating ice cream.” Sabra said smiling dreamily. “That sounds so romantic I’m happy for you sweetie Danny is devilishly handsome.” She said then she turned and hugged Sabra.

“Okay now let’s get this out of the way so you can go back to daydreaming, I think we should go with something that has blue to match the designs on the table cloth what do you think?” “Definitely it will also match the designs on the champagne glasses has well, I think that’s great now that we have made that decision let’s find the flowers.”

“Hydrangeas or blue roses I just love them both what do you think?” Jane asked with a lost puppy dog look in her eyes that always softened Sabra’s heart. “Let’s go with the roses.” Sabra suggested. “Great thanks for coming today I don’t know what I would have done without you.” “It’s no problem that’s what I’m here for.” After spending her morning with Jane Sabra made her way to the studio to meet with the other instructors who danced with the older group of girls. Then when her students arrived she spoke with them about the dance for Jane’s wedding.

“Okay girls today I have a special request of you, see my best friend is getting married and at the reception I would love it if we could perform for her so what do you say?”

The girls all screamed yes and were overwhelming with joy they had only had the pleasure of performing at the school and in their community this was a great opportunity for them all to show off their talents. Sabra immediately started to teach the girls their individual steps things were beginning to look up for her. After a hard day Sabra went home and slumped down into her favorite chair she checked the machine but there weren’t any messages, Danny didn’t call. It was okay she thought to herself she had a great day and him not calling was not going to change that. She took a long bath then went to bed but has soon has she settled in the phone rang and it was Danny

“Hi I hope I’m not disturbing you sorry to be calling so late but I just got home and my thoughts took me to you.” His voice was soft and alluring in Sabra’s ear she could almost imagine him besides her whispering in her ear.

“That’s flattering and no you can never disturb me I actually just settled into bed.” “Really are your sheets pink too?” he asked with a smile on his face “As a matter of fact yes they are.” She said laughing “I wouldn’t put it past you so how was your day?” “It was great I made some progress with the girls on a project I’m working on an I think it’s going to be great. Hopefully.” “Well I hope everything goes the way you want it to. The happy couple is due to be wed at the end of next week how’s the shopping coming along?”

“Great all we have to do is get the dresses everything else is complete.” “I’ve been trying to imagine you in a dress but I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.” “Thinking of me so much isn’t good for you I’ll be a distraction for you when you’re at work.” “Well I like the distraction I like the fact that my mind can think about something other than business deals, I’m guessing you don’t think of me?”

 He asked questioningly. If he only knew in her mind she had striped him down to his boxers more than once and had begun to do things that would drive any man wild. “Yes I have thought of you before.” she said blushing.  

“Oh really and exactly what are those thoughts about.” She couldn’t believe he had asked her that question now of all times when they were apart she would much prefer to have showed him how naughty she could be.

“Well I just go back to how we spent that afternoon in the park.” Good thinking Sabra she told herself “I see well I won’t keep you so goodnight.” “Goodnight Danny.”
