"So how long are you in here?" Louis asked, looking up at the pretty man
"5 years" Zayn told him "How about you?"
"Don't know yet" Louis admitted "Probably forever" he said with a sigh
"Don't be so negative" Zayn said reassuringly "Harry's good, he can help you"
"I know" Louis agreed with a nod "He's amazing"
"Yeah? You like him" Zayn asked and Louis nodded "Me too, he's one of the only nice guys around"
"Has he helped you?" Louis questioned
"Sure has" Zayn answered with a smile "Got my sentence reduced from 10 years to 5"
"Wow" Louis replied, eyes wide "That's great"
"Yeah" Zayn laughed "It's pretty cool what he can do"
"What are you in here for?" Louis asked softly
"Drugs" Zayn replied with a shrug "Graffiti" he added "Nothing major, but the courts thought I was involved with a few robberies and shit"
"Oh" Louis near to whispered "You didn't do it?"
"Nah" Zayn answered "Wrong place wrong time I guess"
Louis nodded at this, just kind of looking at Zayn and admiring his beauty
"What about you?" Zayn asked
"Me?" Louis questioned nervously
"Yeah, what are you here for?" Zayn said, his voice soft and non pressuring
"I killed someone" Louis said quietly
"You did?" Zayn asked
"Yeah" the small boy sighed
"Was it an accident?" Zayn questioned, looking the boy up and down with a frown
"No" Louis stated quietly
"Then why do you look so innocent?" Zayn asked, staring at Louis with a puzzled frown on his face. Louis didn't reply so Zayn asked something else "Should I be afraid of you?"
"No" Louis said quickly
"You look like a kitten" Zayn admitted "You don't look like you could hurt a butterfly"
"Thanks I guess?" Louis giggled softly
"That's my way of saying that you're cute" Zayn whispered against his ear
Louis' eyes widened but he smiled nonetheless

"Mr. Malik" Harry said with a smile
"Hi Harry" Zayn replied, shutting the door after him
"I have big news" Harry stated, a large smile on his face
"You do? What is it?" Zayn asked in confusion
"I got you another court date, this time Mr. Horan and the forensic team think that they have enough evidence to prove that you're innocent. That will just leave you serving time for the vandalism and pot. Seen as you've already been here for a year, that could be anything up to 10 months" Harry explained
"Fuck!" Zayn exclaimed in surprise "You're serious?"
"Yeah" Harry said with a nod "Now I don't want you to get your hopes up but if all goes well, you should be out before next Christmas"
