Papyrus x Reader: A love to remember.

Chapter Eight: Just getting started

You had washed, brushed your hair and gotten changed into shirt that papyrus had lent  you to sleep in. Sans had teleported to his room while Papyrus was shouting something about a bedtime story. With no answer papyrus became sad and walked up so his room saying goodnight to his brother through his door. You were about ready to go to bed yourself when you heard sans unlock his bedroom door and went into papyrus's room. As you walked up the stirs to go to bed the realization of sleeping in the same bed as papyrus (because your room has nothing in it yet) hit you like a ton of bricks, but you through the thought away as he insisted that you stay and there was no way you could say no to him. You walked up to papyrus's room and opened the door to see sans with a book in his hand and papyrus snuggled up in the blanket like a little kid which caused you to giggle.

Papyrus: OH Y/N YOUR JUST IN TIME SANS WAS ABOUT TO RED MY BEDTIME STORY AND NOW THAT YOUR HERE HE CAN READ IT TO YOU TOO.

Y/N: Oh papyrus that's okay i wouldn't want to ruin your tradition.

You said followed by an awkward laugh.

Papyrus: NONSENSE YOU WOULD BE A LOVELY CHANGE TO THE TRADITION RIGHT SANS?

Sans: yeah kid come on let sansy tell you a story.

He was trying so hard to contain his laughter. You sighed in defeat and climb into bed with papyrus with a bright red blush covering your cheeks. Soon when papyrus and you are settled sans starts reading again, you try and create space between you and papyrus so didn't get more red (you couldn't even if you tried) but although your face might be warm you yourself are freezing due to the lack of clothes and heating so your were practically shivering, you felt like you were gonna freeze to death.

Suddenly a boney arm wrapped itself around you and pulled you closer to the owner. You looked up to see papyrus smiling at you which you couldn't look away from.

Sans: ahem!

Papyrus: OH SORRY SANS PLEASE CONTINUE

Sans continued the story while you just sat there in papyrus's arms, thoughts fuzzy and face bright red. When sans was finished reading the story papyrus had fallen asleep on your shoulder. You had no idea what to do but as you were thinking of an idea a blue aura surrounded you and lifted you off the bed. You were about to panic but sans gently placed you on the floor and placed the book back onto the desk.

Y/N: Uh t-thank you Sans.

Sans: huh? oh no problem kid

Just as sans was about to leave you realized that you needed to ask him something about earlier.

Y/N: Wait!

Sans: hmm? whatsamatter kid?

Y/N: Um i wanted to ask you about the thing that happened between you and me when you well uh...

You looked down not knowing what to say next.

Sans: oh you mean when i lifted you up with my magic?

You nodded not trusting  your voice.

Sans: yeah uh sorry bought that kid it's just i really care about my brother you know and i don't want anything to happen to him

Y/N: Yeah i understand i mean your brother is really cool and funny so i can see why you love him so much

Sans stared at you wide eye mouth agape.

Y/N: Did i say something wrong?

Sans: what uh no it's just nobody has said that before

Y/N: Nobody's said that your brother is cool before?

Sans: no not really i mean he's very well known but nobody has ever complimented him before, you're the first

Y/N: Well i only speak the truth Sans i wouldn't  lie about Papyrus, promise

You gave him a big smile to show that you mean it.

Sans: Uh well thanks kid, i'm gonna go get some sleep night kid

Y/N: Uh Sans? where can i sleep?

Sans: oh paps has probably moved over by now so go ahead and jump in his bed for now

Y/N: Oh okay but what abo-

When you turned around sans was gone

Y/N *sigh* Well if i don't get at least some sleep then i will probably pass out

And with that you hoped into bed with papyrus and closed your eyes.

Le time skip to morning

You felt really warm, and very cosy. You opened your eyes to find yourself staring at someones chest, and not just anyone's chest...PAPYRUS'S.

You almost jumped back in surprise but noticed you couldn't, when you tried to move again you noticed there was a pressure on you waist and realized that it was his arm. You and papyrus were cuddling in his bed. Your mind went blank, face bright red and mouth dry you had no idea what to do so you just waited...and waited.....and waited.

You decided to look at the clock behind you and realized it was only 4:30am!! Why had you woken up that early. You turned back to papyrus and as you did you noticed that his eyes were open and looking at you. Without realizing you jumped and tried to roll over only ending up with both of you rolling over and off the bed with papyrus on top of you. You both stared at each other wide eye having no clue how and what just happened.

Papyrus's face light up bright orange both hands on either side of your head and legs on either side of yours, it was a very awkward position you were in. Papyrus staggered to his feet and held out a hand to you. You snapped out of you're daze and took his hand as he helped you up to your feet.

Papyrus: I I-I'M SO S-SORRY Y/N PLEASE FORGIVE ME I DIDN'T MEAN TO GRAB YOU I JUST, I WAS SLEEPING AND I GUESS I THOUGHT YOU WERE A PILLOW OR SOMETHING I'M SO SORRY...

It looked as if he was about to cry

Y/N: Papyrus what are you talking about this wasn't you're fault it was mine for rolling us onto the floor i am terribly sorry please forgive me

Papyrus: OF COURSE I FORGIVE YOU, DO YOU FORGIVE ME?

Y/N: Of course i do Papyrus now how about we uh...

Papyrus: HOW ABOUT BREAKFAST?

Y/N: Uh don't you think it's to early for breakfast

Papyrus: IT'S NEVER TO EARLY FOR BREAKFAST LET'S GO

Papyrus picked you up bridle style and ran downstairs to start cooking breakfast, he placed you no the kitchen counter and started cooking.

'This was nice' you thought.
