Papyrus x Reader: A love to remember.

Chapter Four: Memories

Papyrus's POV:

I held Y/N in my arms for hours until she finally fell asleep. She looks so peaceful just lying there, and she feels so warm. While lost in thought i heard my name being called.

Sans: Bro? broooo? hey earth to Papyrus.

Papyrus: HUH? OH SORRY SANS I WAS JUST UH LOST IN THOUGHT I GUESS.

Sans: yeah well i'm going to Grillbz, standing there for a while has made me hungry so uh take care of the human and i'll be back whenever.

Papyrus: OH OK SANS SEE YOU LATER, OH AND NOT TOO MUCH KETCHUP OKAY.

As sans left i placed Y/N gently back down on the couch watching her hair fall in front of her face. I brushed my hand over the pieces of hair to reveal her beauty and i felt my face get warmer and a smile grew upon me. I sat back on the couch until i, myself fell asleep letting Y/N's head rest on my lap for comfort.

Your POV:

You had noticed that you had fell asleep again after being comforted by papyrus. You didn't know what it was but he made you feel special and cared for. All you wanted to do was hug him and never let go. But once again those thoughts disappeared they were replaced with awful memories.

You felt pain in your stomach and was gripping it tightly where it hurt to stop the pain, soon after you felt a sharp pain on your head. Your hair had been gripped hard and was being pulled, which pulled you alone too. You tried to look up to see who it was but your head was stuck in place. You were thrown to the floor and felt tears fill your eyes. Then you saw someone lean over you, tall and scary. This must have been an old memory because you felt quite small. He leaned down and grabbed your shirt pulling you up to his level. Scared you tried to close your eyes but couldn't. This may have been a memory but you were not in control that was for sure, all you could do was relive it. The man's face became clear and you had realized that it was your father, and that's when everything about this moment started to become clear to you. You remembered what this was, when it happened, where it happened, and why it happened as well. You found yourself kicking and screaming for him to let you go.

Papyrus's POV:

I was woken by someone screaming and thudding, sounded like kicking? Oh no Y/N is screaming what should i do? I was freaking out i didn't know what to do. I pulled her up to face me holding her hands in mine to calm her down, she was still sleeping, her eyes were closed and she was trying to get herself free from my grip. But i know that i need to keep her still to keep her calm. After a few minutes of her struggling she still wouldn't calm down. Whining and crying while i held her still, there was nothing else i could do. She wouldn't wake up no matter what i tried. There was something i could do but i couldn't that would be just wrong of me. So i decided to call out to her hoping she would hear me and wake up to the sound of my voice.

Papyrus: *sigh* I-I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, PLEASE Y/N WAKE UP IT'S ME I-IT'S PAPYRUS.

I leaned in and kissed her forehead pulling her close to me whispering in her ear.

Papyrus: *whispers* Y/N PLEASE BE OK, I'M HERE, YOU'RE SAFE DON'T WORRY. SO PLEASE WAKE UP.

I could feel Y/N hug me back as i called out to her. Her small figure wrapped itself around me and i felt make face become hot.

Your POV:

Y/N: Pa-papyrus, please d-don't leave me. I know this might seem selfish as you've only just met me but please just, just can you h-hold me for a while?

Papyrus: SHH I PROMISE THAT I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU Y/N, AND IT'S NOT AT ALL SELFISH SO DO NOT WORRY. BUT IF YOU KEEP HAVING THESE BAD DREAMS THEN I MIGHT HAVE TO STAY WITH YOU WHILE YOUR SLEEPING AS WELL.
