Papyrus x Reader: A love to remember.

Chapter Five: Dark Dreams

As you got back to house papyrus immediately ran into the kitchen and started cooking, spaghetti probably. You sat yourself onto the couch and cuddled into papyrus's scarf leaning you head against the arm rest. You felt your eyes get heavier but you didn't want to sleep, but that didn't matter anyhow as the next minute you had fallen asleep on the couch still wrapped in paps's scarf.

Once you had awoken you were somewhere, somewhere familiar but where? Everything was darker, duller than usual. However this must not have been a memory as you could move and walk around, as you did so you had realized where you were. You were in sans and papyrus's house, however it looked different. Different furniture, different walls and flooring, but it was definitely there house you were sure of that much. You felt this weird atmosphere around the house, like something bad was about to happen. You stood there for a few moments when the front door opened behind you. You spun around as quickly as you could and became face to face with another, rather tall skeleton. He was wearing a white polo neck jumper with a long black lab coat that fitted him perfectly, hanging just below his knees. He looked a lot like papyrus just with a pair of glassed that is. Once you had realized you were staring you quickly snapped back into reality and noticed that he was staring at you also. You went to say something but quickly shut your mouth in case you said something wrong like you usually do. You looked down avoiding eye contact due to the fact that he was quite intimidating with his height.

???: How did you get in here?

You were startled by a deep yet soothing voice, you tilled you head up slowly only to see that the man had come closer to you only leaving a small gap between you both. You jumped back in fright screaming as you did so only to immediately cover your mouth and stand back up straight to look him in the eyes. You didn't know what say, you didn't even know how you got here so what could you tell him, maybe just that.

Y/N: U-um i uh i-i don't really know how a-actually.

Looking down again, not making eye contact, playing with the ends of papyrus's scarf to calm your nerves.

???: I'm terribly sorry. I did not mean to frighten you but what do you mean, you don't know?

Y/N: W-well that's just it you see, i don't know how i got here. One minute i was sitting on papyrus's couch and then next....*gasp* OH CRAP PAPYRUS!!  Oh no if i'm here then that means...oh my goodness.

???: Did you just say papyrus?

Y/N: Hm? Uh yes i did, why?

???: How do you know papyrus? and what do you mean if you're here, then that means what exactly? Please fill me in on whats happening here my child, all i know is that there's a strange human in my house.

You told the man everything that happened that day, the walk with papyrus, the 'thing' with sans and then going home and here.

???: I see, so you came from the future then i guess seems so papyrus is still just a little baby bones here, so i'm guessing you will probably return to your time when you sleep again.

Y/N: Oh that makes sense but i, i'm not really tired for some reason.

???: Well that's okay you can stay here until you are, papyrus and sans are asleep right now so you don't have to worry about them.

Y/N: Oh thank you um...sorry but i didn't catch your name.

???: Oh how rude of me. My name is W.D Gaster, but please just call me gaster.

Y/N: Well then it's nice to meet you gaster, but i must ask what will happen if i meet sans and papyrus, will they remember me when i go back?

Gaster: Not to worry my child, if you do meet them i will simply erase the memory of you.
