Chapter Three: New friends

Just as you step foot outside the door you became face to face with snow, snow everywhere as far as the eye could see and a bridge far in front of you. You slowly started walking, there were quite a few little rocks here and there, being careful you walked around them not wanting to fall. However luck was not on your side as you had tripped over a rock and had landed head first on something hard. Your vision started to go blurry as you held you head in your hand, you noticed that it was bleeding quite badly and your consciousness started to fade. You had heard someone say something and then felt a hand being placed on you head. Just as you were about to lose consciousness the voice brought you back to reality and you realized that the man in front of you wasn't a man at all, actually he was a skeleton with a rather wide grin. He was short, shorter than you but not that shorter. He was wearing a blue hoodie from what you could tell and once you realized you were staring you immediately apologized.

Y/N: O-oh i'm s-sorry i didn't mean to stare, it's j-just that this is all still quite strange to me.

Still scared you had realized that the stutter you thought you had once lost started coming back. Great.

After that comment you started to feel funny again, you could feel your consciousness slipping away from you.

The Skeleton: Woah there bud, you might be bone-tired but this is no place to take a nap now is it.

You tried to keep your head together but it wasn't happening, you were slowly drifting off and you just barely heard the skeleton shouting someones name.

The Skeleton: PAPYRUS!

Silence

The Skeleton: PAPYRUS I NEED YOU BRO!

Soon after that you heard another set of footsteps coming near you and then a loud gasp.

Papyrus: SANS IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS, IS THAT A HUMAN? WAIT WHATS WRONG?

Sans: She's hurt bro, badly. What do you wanna do? You wanna take her to Undyne?

Papyrus: W-WHAT NO I CAN'T LEAVE HER HURT LIKE THIS, WHAT KIND OF SKELETON WOULD I BE IF I JUST TOOK HER TO UNDYNE TO DIE WHEN IN THIS CONDITION. I WON'T DO IT, WE WILL TAKE HER BACK TO OUR HOME SANS. HERE LET ME CARRY HER.

After that you felt a set of strong, gentle arms being wrapped around you as you were being picked up. You had no idea where you were at this point but you didn't really care. After a while You had felt yourself being gently placed on something cosy and heard a conversation being had in the background.

Sans: Well i dunno bro, i mean Undyne's gunna want to fight her and it's your job to bring humans to her right?

Papyrus: YES I KNOW THAT SANS BUT I-I JUST CAN'T, THIS ONE SEEMS DIFFERENT. I DUNNO SANS LETS JUST HOLD OFF ON INTRODUCING HER TO UNDYNE ALRIGHT?

Sans: Sure bro whatever you say.

You heard footsteps going away from you, it sounded like they were going upstairs. You opened you eyes slowly to see a large skeleton in front of you holding a cup.

Papyrus: OH HUMAN YOU'RE AWAKE THANK GOODNESS I WAS BEGINNING TO WORRY.

Y/N: Huh? W-where am i? S-sorry but what was your n-name?

Papyrus: I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AND MAY I KNOW YOUR NAME HUMAN?

Y/N: Oh sorry my name is Y-Y/N. Di-Did you carry me here?

Papyrus: WHY OF COURSE ANYTHING FOR A FRIEND OF THE GREAT PAPYRUS.

Y/N: A-a....Friend?

Papyrus: WELL YES WE ARE FRIENDS AREN'T WE?
