Big fat trigger warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suicide and all that bad stuff!!!!! Poorly written as well!!!!

Thursday, November 25th

Today was a particularly bad day for Michael. It was hardly that he ever had actual good days, but this one seemed to top the last few months.

Today, Lucifer and him got in a small fight, actually Lucifer didn't know about the fight. Michael was trying to find him in town and thought he would be at his favorite coffee shop. He had gotten Lucifer a poster of The Joker from The Dark Knight and wanted to surprise him.

As suspected, he was at his favorite coffee shop, kissing some blonde girl across the table.

It became hard for Michael to breath and he ran before Lucifer could see him. He knew he had no right to be upset, Lucifer wasn't his boyfriend but seeing him with a beautiful girl, being happy, hurt him more than he thought.

He ran home and hid in his room. Dry tears fell as he was having a panic attack. Years, more than 6 years, Michael wanted to be with him. In that time, Lucifer had only dated one girl and they broke up after a few days.

Earlier that day, the college he applied to denied him. He thought maybe hanging out with his best friend would make him feel better. Apparently not.

His breath hitched and he couldn't gain control of how he felt and what he did. Shakily, he stood from the floor and walked into his bathroom. Last he had done something like this was around a year ago.

He looked in the mirror, tears streaming down his face. He lifted his fist and smashed the mirror to pieces, feeling the shards of glass enter is fingers but it didn't matter. The cabinet opened and he grabbed something he never thought he would touch again.

The blade twiddled in his fingers and he fell to the floor, resting his back against the toilet. Michael closed his eyes and let the cold metal paint his skin. The warm blood trickled down his arm but it wasn't enough, not satisfying enough. He cut again and again and again.

Blood spewed from his wrists as the razor touched his skin for the 9th time.

The blood didn't seem to stop and he'd lost count of the times he did it. He stopped counting at around 13, when his eyes began to droop and get fuzzy.

Eventually, he couldn't find the energy to go anymore and his arms draped to his sides, the blade falling out of his hand. Michael's eyes closed and he drifted out of consciousness.

Lucifer reluctantly agreed to going to coffee with Ruby, a girl he dated for 2 weeks in high school.

They ordered their own drinks and didn't talk much. Ruby mindlessly flirted with him, although he made it blatantly obvious he wasn't interested.

"I'm glad you came, cutie." She sipped her latte, not tearing her gaze away from him.

"Yeah but I have to go to Mikey's soon." Lucifer remembered that Michael would be getting his acceptance letter for college this week.

"He's fine without you, babe." Ruby grabbed his hand.

"Don't call me babe." He ripped his hand away from her and tried to stand up. He was unexpectedly pulled back down and felt crackled lips on his own.

Lucifer pushed her away and stormed out of the coffee shop, he needed to see if Michael got the letter or not today.

He walked to Michael's apartment and knocked on the door exactly 7 times, like they had always done.

He was surprised that the door didn't open so he knocked again. When there wasn't an answer, he called.
