There is a hot pounding against my temples when I woke up. I was cramped up in a hole. Short walls of dirt enclosed me.

I sit up and smack my head against a tree root. I let out a short gasp.

It was morning and it was cloudy. I could feel tiny water droplets sprinkling on my skin. I look around outside of the hole and see myself alone.

Memories of last night came rushing back to me. Where was everyone? Had they left me alone?!?

I climb out and accidentally bump into a lower branch of a tree.

I could feel the humming of the wall from here. Walking around I stumbled on an object. The box. I grasped onto it. I felt my pockets for Aspen's compact. I let out a sigh of relieve when I felt it.

There was a shouting. I follow it. The voice belonged to Lilian.

"Lyra!Daphne!", she called out. Her arms dropped as she saw me.

"Lyra, Oh my gosh!", she runs and hugs me tightly. She wouldn't ever leave me behind.

Click! We froze.

The movement was in my hands. I incurred my fingers and the box's lid was open. Lilian holds my shoulders as I open it wider. It smelled of old perfume. I've smelled it somewhere before.

The familiarity of the smell punches me. In my memory something comes but goes before I can remember it.

There was a wad of papers stuck together, perfectly alining with the space inside the box. I reach to unravel it but Lilian stops my hand." Lets go to the others first.", her eyes pleaded.

I nodded. Whatever it can be..it'll wait. They've been wanting this for a majority of their life.

Could these papers change everything?

Her hand clutches my wrist. She leads me through the forest. My eyes dart to many bruises on her arms. Her lip was cut. Yet she was still blazing with energy.

How much has she lost just to come this far?
