Chapter 8

Comet's POV

The Arcadia Movement building

The doors finally opened and Sayer welcomed us in. Akiza had a huge smile on her face, and she trusted him completely. I on the other hand had a strange feeling in my gut.

* Comet, there's a dark energy here. I don't like it*

" Yeah, neither do I." I whispered under my breath.

" Well, welcome fellow duelist to the Archanduim Movement!" Sayer smiled, showing us the huge building within. My eyes widen to how public this building is. I mean it was nearly in the middle of the city. " Now, I know you're eager to learn about how to control your powers, and I'm here to assure you that's what we'll help you with."

" And how do you expect us to show you what we are capable of?" I questioned him. His smiled disappeared.

" You'll find out soon enough." He walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. Akiza snapped her head at me.

" Comet! You were so rude!" she snapped.

" Draco told me that there's something not right about him. I don't like the sound of him, and I think you should-wait what's that smell?" I sniffed the air. It was taint, but it wasn't right.

" That's...odd..." Akiza fell to the floor, out cold. I rushed to her side, but the strange gas brought a deep sleep on me. I blacked out.

Sayer looked at the two, who were past out on the floor, and smiled. " I've been looking at you for a while now Akiza, and now that I learned you here. I can take the chance into controlling you powers."

" What of the boy, sir?"

He looked at the blue-red hair kid. There was something protecting him, but he couldn't identify it. " Lock him up, and bring to girl to me. I'll deal with him after I've gained the trust of the girl."

" Very well, sir."

Comet's POV

I woke up slightly dazed. My head was dizzy, and my eyesight blurred.

" Well, well I'm glad you can join us."

My eyes widen and glared at Sayer. " What did you do to Akiza?!" I yelled trying to run at him, but the chain on my foot stopped me. " Sayer?!"

" Now, now calm down, Akiza is safe and sound here. She has found her place, and is now under my protection."

" Where is she?!"

He pointed his hand to where she was. Up above, in a small glass box connected to the wall. " There's no point in yelling at her, it's a sound proof wall and all she'll be able to do is look."

She didn't seem hurt, but almost happy. " What did you do to her?" I asked more calmly now.

" I've simply showed her the way. I've given her someone that will care for her, and can help free her mind."

" that's what I doing." I hissed at him.

" Well, I guess you failed, and now I'm taking over." He got his duel disk ready. I looked at my arm. I too had on. There were strange device on my shoulders and head. I looked at them confused.

" Oh, those are to measure how much psychic power you have, so I can help you." he smiled.

I smirked at him. " Sayer, you're going to wish you hadn't messed with me and Akiza." I got my duel disk ready. A slight expression of fear flashed in his eyes. " I'm guessing you've met a psyche that wanted to fight you. Well, let me be the first!'
