Chapter 10

Comet's POV

The Rose's curse will destroy her...

I gasped awake, shooting straight out of the bed. The room was dark and I was alone.

" Looks like you finally woke up."

I looked next to me and there he was, " Sayer! What do you want?!"

" Well, your vitals seem normal, and the fever is gone." he smiled coldly. I knew something wasn't right. " I have to say that was something else. It's a good thing Akiza brought you here, I mean you didn't look to good at all."

" It happens." I huffed at him. His eyes widen.

" Really? Well, she told me that it all happened when she showed you her new hair piece."

" That silver thing! It's not right, Sayer. Whatever you gave her is not going to help her, in fact it'll go the exact opposite!" I glared at him.

" I know, but it's not to help you, but to help me and this movement!" he laughed. " She ran to me like a lost pup, and now I am her master and she'll follow me to the ends of the earth!"

" You snake!!!" I was about to lunge at him, but Draco pulled me back. *Draco!*

Not yet, Comet....not yet! He warned.

I lowered my head. " What do you plan to do with her?"

" Oh, don't worry no harm will come to her. I'm like family to her." he smirked.

" Liar! You're nothing to her. She just too blind to see the truth!"

" What did you do with you? Nothing! That's the point, you got nowhere with her, and now thanks to you; she's with me!" he smiled. I was taken aback. Did I really cause all this? No! He's trying to get under my skin!

" What do you plan to do with me now?"

" Well, while you were asleep, we noticed how your brain activity and your powers have gone off the charts. I've never seen such a thing, only when dreaming of course, but you..you my boy are something else. It's your power within your heart and deck. As if the two are connected, like body and soul."

I froze at what he just stated. Right on the dot, but how did you figure it out?

" I see-So the legend of the Stars is true. He that holds the stars and control the dragon they say, or at least he said anyway."

" Who?"

" Why, Goodwin, of course, but he and I don't talk much anymore, but once he sees that I have you, and now he'll give me what I want, but now I know that it's true I think I'll use you to my advantage." he sneered.

" I'll never follow you! I've seen what you done to those poor kids, and it will backfire on you." I hissed at him. Sayer smiled and began to head out the door.

" We'll see, remember I still have Akiza, and if you really care about her. Then I will do what I have to." he smiled grimly at me. I knew I still couldn't do anything, and reluctantly I had not choose, but to follow him. Just to keep her alive, until we could escape. " Goodbye, Holder of Stars."

The door shut, and I was left alone. The message in my mind ran through in my head over and over again. " Comet?"

I looked up and saw her. " Akiza!" I smiled. She ran up to me and gripped me in her arms.

" You baka! Why did you scare me like that!" she yelled. I looked down and shrugged.

" It's not like I wanted to get sick! I am still human you know!" I teased her. " I'm better now anyway. It was probably-"

" You not eating." I looked at her, as she looked at me. " Don't think I haven't been watching you. You never eat, and when you do it's barely anything. Comet, you're going to starve yourself to death, and now it's starting!"

" Akiza, that is definitely not why I got sick. I just don't eat much." I told her. " I'm fine now, ok. So don't worry about me."

" Comet, I'm always going to worry about you. You're like my little brother if anything." she rubbed my hair. " We have to stick together, no matter what got that."

I smiled and nodded at her. " Right."

" Akiza!"

We turned around and faced Sayer who was at the door. " Sayer, I was just visiting."

" That's fine, I was just reminding you that we have training right now." he stated.

" Right, but-"

" It's fine, don't let me be an excuse to skip practice." I smiled, but my eyes glaring towards Sayer.

" Ok, don't get into anymore trouble." she kissed my forehead and left the room. Sayer followed close behind her and walked out of the room. I was left alone again, but I knew that something bad was going to happened to Akiza.

Night..

*Hey, Comet!*

I turned around, I was in the dream again, but this time it was different. The sky was filled with stars, but the ground was covered in rose gardens. *Akiza?!*

The girl grabbed my hand and smiled. *No silly, it's me Yuri!*

*Yuri?*

Her brown hair blew in the wind and her eyes glowed a faint white. The roses around me began to bloom, but now they were filled with stars. *Who are you?*

She smiled and kissed my cheek. *Don't worry you'll find out soon, my love.*

" Yuri?"

Akiza, who was right next to me, looked at me strangely. " Who's Yuri?"

I didn't answer, and looked out the window next to me. " I'll find out soon, I guess."
