Chapter 19

Comet's POV 

I looked at the sky as a different array of colors painted the sky. " I know that I was willing to give you up, but that person is long gone, and I'm asking you....Will you join me again?"

The stars glowed brightly, and my monsters came to life right next to me. Comet, we know that you weren't well, and we were going to be by your side no matter what..Draco growled softly.

** You are our partner!**

*Yeah, we're with you all the way!* Aquila and Cygnus called out, happily.

" Thank you.." I whispered. The monster glowed brightly and came back to my deck.

" So you're going back?"

I turned to see the brown spiky haired boy looking at me with worried eyes. " So you're really going back?" he asked, his voice soft.

I nodded my head. " Yeah, I'm better now, and Akiza...She still needs me, and I made a promise to her that I would never abandon her.."

" Isn't it too late for that?" Leo questioned, confused. I shook my head.

" No, I let go of her hand, to help her understand that I was always going to be there, even if I was gone. I was trying to help her, but...it appeared I only made things worst." I whispered grimly, " but now I have to make things right."

Leo chuckled a bit. " Well, I guess I can't stop you then." He held out his hand. " I wish you luck then, brother."

I smiled and shook it. " Thank you, but I'll never forget you, and thank you for everything you have done for me."

" Well, don't go dying on me now, you're planning on coming back are you?"

I hesitated a bit, but finally answered. " I guess the stars will tell, but no I don't plan on dying." I smiled.

" Well, until then."
