Chapter 6

Akiza's POV

The Rose's curse with destroy you!!!

" What?!" I gasped and shot up. I looked around. Where am I? I felt my body totally drained of energy. " I must've lost control-what's this?" I felt my side. A red dried stain covered my side. There was no wound visible. I looked to my side and found Comet asleep.

I noticed the blood on this side, and relized that he must of got caught in the line of fire once again.

" Oh, Comet. I'm sorry...I've hurt you again." I brush my hand through his blue and red hair. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep. He makes me feel safe around myself. " Why do you stay? I've hurt you so many times, I don't deserve your loyalty."

He's been caught in the line of fire. I've nearly killed him the first time we actually met, and even then he stayed by my side. Defending me from the staring eyes of those who are afraid of me. That first time...That faithful day that I though I truly lost hope. He showed up.

" Who else what's to challenge me!" I yelled after the uttering defeat of a kid that was teasing me. The crowd began to back away from me slowly. The wind of rose petals began to fly around the room.

" Ahh!!!"

" She's a monster!"

" Let's get out of here!"

" Err! Stop it!!!" I screamed. A burst of power shot through the area. The children screamed and backed away. I was beginning to lose my grip on my anger. I looked up and saw the eyes of fear on everyone. " I can't control it..." I whispered through the tears that fell from my eyes.

" Hey, you!"

I turned around, my eyes flaring with pure rage. There in front of me was a boy. His eyes staring right at me, with no fear in them. There was something strange about this boy, but besides from the dual hair color I couldn't place it.

" What do you want?" I hissed at him.

He smiled and placed on his duel disk. " I've been hearing stories about you around the Ra dorm. Your gift it's quite amazing, heh, I'm ecstatic!" he chuckled.

" This isn't some gift, this is..this is a curse!" I yelled.

" Yeah, maybe it is, but it doesn't have to be."

" What are you-never mind this! You don't understand my pain, and you never will!!!" I released a wave of energy. It pushed the group of those watching back.

" Comet, don't do this! She's crazy, man!"

" Shush, Leo! I know what I'm doing!" I heard Comet whispered to him, harshly. He then turned towards me.

" I challenge you to a duel!" He yelled, activating his duel disk. I was shocked.

" Have you not seen what I can do?! All those who challenge me will fall by my hand! I yelled. He didn't looked phased, his eyes seemed to convince me that he was ready. " Do you have a death wish?"

" Maybe? I doubt you're that evil to kill me, or anyone else in this room." he smiled. I looked at him, getting my deck ready.

" Very well.."

" Let's duel!!" We both yelled.

" I'll start!" I yelled, pulling out one of my cards.

" The first move is mine!! I summon Wall Ivy in defense mode!" I cried bringing out a stone wall in front of me. Comet's eyes glistened and drew his card.
