Chapter 4

Comet's POV

I was still asleep, but I was feeling something snuggling next to me. I began to wake from my dream. I turn towards my side, and I begin to blush at the sight.

" Akiza?" I groaned drowsily. She looked at me and smiled slightly. " What's worng?"

" I'm sorry. I couldn't sleep especially with him snoring." she was reffering to Leo, who normally snores.

" Heh, sorry about that. I normally sleep deeply so it doesn't bother me." I smiled. I knew something else was worng with her. She was clucthing her arm, but I don't think there was a wound on it. I deciced not to worry about it. " Akiza, are you planning on running again?"

Her eyes widen and turned away for a moment. " What do you mean?" she whisphered.

" I've been around a lot of people at this school and New Domino City, and I began to see the same eyes on different people. For you I see the eyes of someone who wants to run." I told her staring into her hazel brown eyes.

She chuckled a bit. " Why would I stay in this place. I mean my parents threw me into this place and now even here I'm the monster. This is not a place for me, so I...I want to see if I'm not sure if my parents changed and maybe finally accept me." I looked at her with wide eyes. " It's stupid I know."

" No, no this...this is a good plan, but are you sure you want to leave now?"

" Yes, I don't feel safe here, not with those people, but...but." her hands began to shiver. I clutched them close to me.

" Akiza, I won't let you go alone. I mean I did being you back here for most of the year. So the least I could do is go with you." I smiled. She looked at me with calming energy and I could feel as if the petals of the rose slowly opening up. " You're not alone, Akiza. You have me and I know what it's like to have a power hidden inside you."

" Thank you."

One day later......In New Domino City.

" Hey, Akiza! Look at this!" I yelled running towards the pier. She followed me and too run towards the edge.

" What's that?"

" I hear they call it the Satilite. Were the trash and stuff is dumped at. Then there are the outcast that are left there. It's sad, uh."

Her eyes sadden at bit. " People are so cruel, they never can accept the past. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. I mean the last thing my Dad call me was a monster. Maybe they still hate me." she whisphered.

" Don't worry. We don't have to go right now. I mean look at this." I spread my arms out and turn towards the city. " We're two travlers in a big city, all to ourselves to find it's secrets and fun. What do you say?" I smile.

" Mmm..Okay, I guess that wouldn't be so bad." she smiled running ahead. I was about to follow her when a sharp pain hit my chest. I stop and turned towards the barren island across the sea. An sudden flash of the red, glowing marks in the starry sky began to transform into a dragon of unknown power. It disappeared and I found myself in the woods surrounded by darkness. I turned around trying to find myself and where I was.

" Ah, great. Draco! What's going on here?!" I called out, but my call was left echoing into the distance.

Oh, so here we are, Holder.....Are you afraid?

I turned around and saw something in the shadows. Slowly a dark starry wolf came from the woods and began to circle me.

" So your part of my next test?'

Yes.....I'm Canis Major and here.....

*rusleling*

" Argh!" I yelled falling to the ground.

Is Canis Minor.....The smaller starry hound jumped me from behind and attacked me. It too, began to circle me. I got up and tried to keep my eyes on both of them.

" Nice meeting you too." I huffed gripping my shoulder where I've been attacked.

The dogs smiled and whisphered one last thing before I began to come back to reality.

The stars will reveal the crimson dragon.........The stars can only control it's power.....

I fell back to reality and the cut on my shoulder was luckly some bruise now. My body nearly collpased onto the floor, but I instead held the railing that was near. I didn't want to give any sign to Akiza that I was hurt. That vision though, it was different.

" Comet?" Akiza came towards me with a worried look on her face. " You've been challenged again?"

" What? No, way. I..I was just tired." I chuckled a bit. " I guess I didn't sleep too much last night."

" Tell me the truth." she glared at me. Great, there's no hiding anything when she does that face.

I sighed and nodded my head. " Yeah, the Canis Hounds challneged me this time, but for right now I need to figure out the puzzle so I can beat them."

" Hey, we could just stay somewhere for the night. We can go when the test is complete." she smiled slightly helping me to my feet.

" No, this is something we can't hold off. I'll be fine okay." I looked into her eyes, trying to show her that I wasn't going to let this slow me down. She finally nodded her head. " Good, so worrying." I smiled.

" Alright I think it's this way." she smiled pulling my hand to follow her.

Comet, you saw it didn't you?

" Yeah, I saw it, but where were you?"

I was forced out of the test, the time is coming, and soon your role as the Seeker of Dragons will reveal itself to you. You must be ready.

" Don't worry, I promise I won't let the Stars down." I smiled.
