Chapter Seventeen - Unpleasing Aftereffects

Trash that doesn't even know it's trash deserves to fall into the abyss

"Fight?" Henrich laughed, "We're still waiting on your brother!"

"How did you-"

"Please, I know a lot of things, Natsu," Henrich chuckled. "I know you have a love hate relationship with Zeref Dragneel, I know that you still blame him for everything. I know you don't believe he's changed."

Natsu clenched his fists and narrowed his eyes, "Hah! Like you'd know a thing about my life!"

"Actually, I know everything about your life," Henrich countered. "ah, looks like he's entered the tower."

"Huh...?"

"But...that pesky man-servant of his is with him. I'll deal with him first."

"What're ya talkin' about you mongrel!"

"Mongrel? Me?" Henrich laughed loudly. "That's funny coming from you."

Natsu tensed, "What's that suppose to mean?"

"You shouldn't be worried about your brother. He can control himself just fine now. You should be worried about yourself. Heh, unlocking those demonic abilities of yours...you think you will be able to restrain yourself from hurting the ones you love? Your demon side thirsts for blood! Why not just give in? Then you won't have to worry about anything, or anyone."

"Never!"

Henrich slowly walked towards Natsu, and was soon right in front of him. Henrich's smirking face was inches from his own.

"It will be much easier if you do."

"Natsu!" Henrich stepped back as Natsu turned around.

"Zeref-"

"Finally!" Henrich released and exasperated sigh. "Me and your small brother were just dying of boredom waiting for you."

Invel stepped in front of Zeref, causing Henrich to scowl.

"Oh, you'll have to go..." Henrich shook his head and flicked his wrist.

A dark aura, or hole, appeared right under Invel's feet, and the Spriggan fell through it. Natsu caught a glimpse of Invel's hair right before the hole closed.

"Invel!" Zeref gasped. "Where'd you send him!?"

"Oh, he's just out cold on the battlefield." Henrich explained. "What's wrong? Does that make you mad?"

Zeref grunted, his eyebrows furrowed in anger. Natsu turned his attention back to Henrich.

"You're going to die!" Natsu shouted.

"Try!"

Natsu couldn't wait any longer, he attacked, engulfing his fist in flames. Henrich easily dodged Natsu's attack and responded with a swift kick to Natsu's gut. Henrich's strength, mixed with his power worked in his favor, and threw Natsu back. Natsu landed on the ground and skidded before regaining himself.
