Chapter Sixteen - Six Fights and Dark Lights

     "One has run off, two and three are in battle scheme, four is hardcore, five strives to be alive, six hasn't kicked one brick, and seven must be in heaven!"

 "Well put, meoww." 

 "What about ours?" 

 "One is done, and we're just-"

 "Purring...around?"

 "Yes with no progress." 

  "Tsubada," a woman, Ventrex, smiled. "your rhyming abilities never cease to amaze me."

  "I rhyme all the time, sister quickster," replied Tsubada.

  "Well, this is a little boring I must say meoww..." Brebei whined. "I want to go and fight!"

  "I've chosen an opponent." Ruin said proudly. 

 "Lucky you, meow..." Brebei moaned. 

 "Actually...she is approaching with the stupid one." 

 "Oh..." Ventrex licked her lips. "...shirtless and cold heart-ed, just the way we like 'em, eh Tsubada?"
 
 "Oh he glows like snow. We'll fill our unexciting boredom with necessary fighting."

     "Lucy, Gray, Happy!" Wendy turned to her friends, "Go on ahead! I'll handle these guys!"

 "Thanks Wendy! Stay safe!" Lucy nodded at the sky dragon slayer before running ahead. 

  The trio continued ahead, panting at the running and dodging and fighting. Lucy came to a stop when she spotted a very big man ahead. 

 "Gray..." Lucy muttered. "...I don't like the looks of him..."

 "Neither do I."

 "Well, you better not insult him to his face!" Happy squeaked, keeping his eyes on the large man strolling towards them, "He's coming!"

Lucy touched her hand to her keys, preparing to fight. 

 "I am Ruin." The large man introduced himself. 

 Lucy didn't reply, she only glared at him. Gray was in a fighting stance, preparing to fight as well.  

 Ruin raised his arms and punched the ground. Lucy, Happy, Gray and everyone around that area flew up into the air, and landed on the ground with a painful thud.

 Gray cursed, "This guy's got some strength..."

 "Of course I do, I am one of the personal guards of Henrich Luyon," Ruin nodded towards the tower in the distance. 

 "Gray." Lucy didn't move her eyes from Ruin, "Go help Natsu."

 "What? I'm not letting you fight him alon-"

 "Happy will be here to help," Lucy said sternly. 

 "But-"

 "Go and help Natsu! I know he thinks he's strong, but he does need a powerful someone to give him a hand!" Lucy ordered. 

 "O-okay..." 

 Gray started.

 "Gray," Gray glanced behind him, as Lucy continued. "don't let him die again. If he doesn't make it through this battle, I don't know what I'll do with myself."
