Colin's POV
You could say that I was quite disappointed right now but that is an understatement. Eva was the only thing on my mind. I started to think about the time before I met her. I used to be stuck on a routine that would eventually kill me. I was a boring, lonely old man and I didn't even know it. When I met Eva, she spiced up my life. We danced and made messes and had fun. I started to appreciate the things I experience every day. Now, after Eva, I realize just how colorless my life really is. Not even talking about Eva, I seriously need a hobby.
Whilst getting ready this morning, I felt a sharp pain near my heart. I lunged over and Penny came to my side, noticing I didn't feel well. I have felt these sharp pains for a while now, so I went to visit my doctor a few weeks ago. He said not to eat so much junk and start eating more healthy. He told me that you can't eat junk and think that exercising will fix everything. I have now lived by that. Eat junk and working out will fix everything. It's quite comical actually. But it hasn't helped my heart. And it doesn't help when my heart keeps breaking.

Eva's POV
I went into Mr. Firth's class today with a sense of renewal. I was trying to distract myself from my horrible luck with love. Over the weekend, I biked around Cornell for a few hours, stopping for lunch at a Thai restaurant. After that, I went shopping and got a massage. I realized that treating myself and doing things on my own was so rejuvenating. So, I walked in with confidence and took my seat right in the middle of the class, before everyone else started pouring in. Mr. Firth came in and started talking. After about 15 minutes, the door opened again. It was Allison. Mr. Firth stopped teaching and addressed her.
"Miss Reed, you are," He looked at the clock, "15 minutes late to class. What do you have to say for yourself?"
Everyone's eyes were on her.
"Sorry, I'm usually in your Tuesday class, I had to change my schedule." She looked at him with sorry eyes, not knowing what his response would be.
"Take a seat then, no need to waste time." He said before going back to the blackboard behind him.
She looked relieved for a split second with Mr. Firth's calm reaction. Then, she looked at the large group of people in front of her. She slowly started walking up the stairs, clearly nervous on where to sit.
I decided to help her out and waved to her. As soon as she saw me, her nervousness went away. She almost jogged towards me and sat down in the seat next to me when she arrived.
"I'm so glad to see a familiar face," she sighed with relief.
"Me too."
She retrieved a notebook out of her backpack and set it on the table, like me.
"How do you like this class?"
"I love it, it's my favorite class. You?" I asked, not particularly interested in a response.
"I really like it too. Besides the crazy professor that teaches it," she chuckled.
"Miss Reed, if you can't shut your mouth, leave my class," he said with utter seriousness.
Wow. He didn't wake up on the right side of the bed this morning.
"I'm sorry, sir," Allison softly spoke.
I looked at her with furrowed eyebrows. But I wasn't angry at her. I was angry at the man teaching.
"Allison, you don't have to say sorry to him, he doesn't respect anybody so why should anyone respect him?" I spoke in a conversational volume.
"Allison why can't you just be quite? It's really not hard," Colin said and sighed. I was baffled! He knows what I sound like!
"That was clearly me talking, why didn't you tell me to stop talking?" I was infuriated. It's like he doesn't even want to talk to me.
When I practically yelled at him, he turned around and stared at me.
"Speak to me after class, Miss Carter."
