6:45 A.M.
I woke up. I grabbed my clothes and brushes, and headed off to the bathroom. Dean was still asleep. So I took the time to get ready.
I turned the hot water on and jumped into the shower. I thought for a moment...
Where can I find my grandfather? What is he doing right now? What will happen if I find him? What will my future look like?
I hopped out of the shower and washed my face. I didn't really like makeup, and I never wore any. My mom would always pressure me to wear some, but I always denied it. I once wore makeup to school and all the guys were starring at me, making the girls jealous and hating on me...Then, in the locker room later that day, the head cheerleader and her side-bit**es beat me up. I still have a scar on my rib.
I ironed my hair out to its full length. I dyed it blue a couple days back, and it faded into a sky blue-ish color. I liked it a lot so I left it that way.
I put on my black long sleeve shirt and leggings, grabbing my white cut-off sweater and throwing it on top. Ready to go.💀💀💀
Dean woke up as I was getting my vans on and made his way downstairs.
My mom had left a note on the refrigerator:
Dear Eliza,
I left for work a bit early. They needed someone to come in early. Love you, sweetheart.
Xoxo. - Mom."Bye, Dean. I'm off to school!" I yelled.
" What do you mean? I'm your guardian, I follow you. I'm supposed to protect you." Dean said, handing me my phone.
" Thanks."💀💀💀
I arrive at school and already, people are giving me odd looks. Bria, the head cheerleader who beat me up, was looking at me up and down. Then she began to make out with her boyfriend in the middle of the hallway. Ew.
I got to my locker and opened it, Dean leaning against the locker next to me.
" Can anyone else see you besides me? I don't want to look crazy throughout the day. Not that anyone thinks differently of me here. I'm a walking piece of sh*t." I said, grabbing my books.Dean spoke up as I closed my locker.
" Only Blood Moon Children can see me. Because they have guardians, too."
The bell for homeroom rang and off to homeroom I went.
