~~~~TIME SKIP: LATER THAT DAY AT 12:00AM~~~~

Natsu's POV:

I said as I didn't think of what I said, "I wish I never met you! That way we couldn't be in this situation!"

Lucy's eyes widened in shock, "I...I'm sorry that I made you regret that."

I noticed what I said, "NO LUCE! THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!"

Lucy ran out of the class and Zeref yelled her name and ran after her. He heard everything...I lost her. I lost the one I loved. I'm sorry Luce....I'm sorry. I clenched my fist and I punched the window that was close by me. My knuckles began to bleed.

I wake up in the middle of the night. That scene keeps playing over and over again in my head. I can't stop thinking about her. I can't believe I said that to her. I don't want to lose her. I screwed up everything. I took out my phone and I texted her.

*Me: Listen, Luce, I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything! It just came out of my mouth.

*Luce: Natsu this is Zeref, Lucy doesn't want any contact with you anymore, so fuck off. Leave her alone!

*Me: Why the hell are you in our business?

*Luce: Shut up! Leave me alone Natsu! (This is Lucy)

I got out of my bed and I walked out of my room. I walked into the living room and I walked out of the apartment. I went to go knock on Lucy's apartment door and I said, "Lucy! Listen I'm really sorry please, just let me talk to you....WITHOUT ZEREF!"

Zeref yelled, "GO. AWAY. NATSU!"

I could hear Lucy sobbing, "I...didn't mean...for him to get involve with me....I just wanted him and me to be happy."

I heard Zeref, "It's okay Lucy, Natsu is a jerk, if you think him and Lisanna didn't work out, I knew he would do the same to you."

That really ticked me off, I walked back to my apartment and slammed the door. I walked to my living room and I looked at the mirror. I see my reflection, "What kind of person would go out with you? You're nothing but a mistake Natsu." I hear a voice coming back. It was Lisanna...she said that after we broke up. I punched the mirror and my other hand's knuckles began to bleed. I yelled in frustration, "DAMMIT!"

Lucy's POV:

I thought we had something special. I thought we would end up together....but instead he ended up breaking my heart. Zeref...he's so nice, is literally comforting me in the middle of the night. I smiled at that thought. When I smiled, Zeref noticed.

I saw a small smile glued to his face, "I'm sorry Lushie, but you have to forget about him. Tomorrow, I mean later on, when you see him you have to look at him like a stranger. And don't worry, I have you for all of my classes! So I'll help you out...so will Levy!"

I wiped my tears and I smiled, "You mean it?"

He nodded, "Yea! Remember that promise we made when we were little?"

I smiled, "Yea, we would always protect each other....and be best friends....no matter what."

He nodded, "Yep! Here I wanna give you something."

I lifted an eyebrow and he dug into hi pants pockets. He took out a ring that had a pink one and a red one. It kind of reminded me of....Natsu. They're real diamonds too.
