Chapter 2- I Guess I Live Here Now

Kacey's P.O.V.

I went upstairs and to the room Gabriel said I could stay in I took a shower, and freshened up. Once I got out I put my hair in a messy bun, and wrapped a towel around my body.

"Hey Gabe?" I shouted from the bathroom

"Yeah"

"I don't have any clothes to wear"

"You can borrow some of mine, just go in my room"

"Okay Thanks" I walked into his room its pretty cool he has LeBron James posters and Golden State Warriors posters as well. Mostly Heat Nation Posters.

I went into his drawer and grabbed one of his Black T-Shirts and one of his white basketball shorts.

I got to admit he has a pretty cool room. I walked out of his room went into mine and shut the door. I put the T-Shirt and basketball shorts on and went downstairs. Gabe was watching a Heat game so I decided to join him.

"I never knew your were a huge Heat fan"

"Yeah I like basketball and LeBron even if he left the Heat, and I admire Stephen Curry, and have mad respect for him as a player"

"That's great I admire Stephen Curry as well, I mean come on his 3 pointers are on point"

we talked about basketball for a while, who our favorite teams were, and different basketball moves we knew. I checked the time and it was 1:45am. We had talked so much I didn't even look at the time.

"Well its getting pretty late"

"Yeah I guess we should get some sleep"

"Yea I agree" I yawned and started to walk upstairs. Gabe went into the kitchen and turned off the light then followed behind me.

"Well Goodnight Gabe"

"Goodnight Kacey" after we said our goodnights we went to our rooms and went to sleep.

-------------The Next Day

I woke up to the sun shining in my face. How did I not realize how bright the sun was shining in the room. I got up realizing I was still wearing Gabriels clothes that I had borrowed. I walked into the bathroom and went to shower.

When I got out, I didnt have a new pair of clothes to wear so I put on the clothes that I had brought that had the least amount of wholes in them. After, I washed my hair and put it into a messy bun and walked downstairs.

Gabe was putting out 2 bowls of cereal, I was watching him from a few steps above. Then he must've noticed me from where I was at because he began to chuckle lightly to himself. Except that broke from my trance and I continued to walk down the stairs.

"Good Morning" he said, gosh did I love his morning voice

"Morning"

"Why were you staring at the food you looked like you hadn't seen this much food in a while"

" Because I hadn't........." I almost started to cry, but I held them back. I can't keep crying over her its useless....All she's done is make me cry, make me feel like I don't belong, but not anymore because today there will be a light that shines inside my darkened past.

"I'm sorry Kacey I forgot about what you told me yesterday" his voice sounded pained

"Its fine" I lied, because even though it was fine....every time I pictured it ,tears would try and fall but I blocked them for a reason a reason you will know soon enough..................
