I yawned and woke up to the sun shining through the window. How did I get into the room? I thought. I got up and walked into the bathroom to freshen up. I stripped and showered, well now I was officially awake because the soothing hot water woke me up.
I got out and grabbed a white Just Do It tank top, some black joggers and put on my obey sweater and my Under Armour slides and started to walk downstairs to find a shirtless Gabriel sitting on the couch playing Xbox One.
"Mornin"
"Mornin" he replied with his morning voice. God how much I loved his morning voice
" What no breakfast this morning"
"I decided to play Black Ops that's all"
I walked towards the couch and sat next to him. He glanced at me for a second then went back to playing. I watched him for about 30 minutes then noticed he was gonna die in probably about 9 minutes
"You know if you crouch while aiming, you'll get a better shot" I said, and he did then looked at me shocked.
"You play?"
"Well used to, back in Ohio, during those abusive times before I got home I would break into this old arcade and me my one and only true friend Liam would play the games there, and one of our favorites was Jurassic Park: Escape of the Dinosaurs"
"Nice, hey how about we something today like..." He paused"..Oh I know, but do you trust me?"
"Hmmmm.....Maybe"
"Ok well lets go, put your shoes on and meet me in the car" and with that he put a shirt on and shoes and was out the door in a second.
I went upstairs to my room and quickly grabbed my Red and Gold LeBron Soldiers, grabbed my phone and walked downstairs. I walked out the door and locked it then walked to Gabe's car.
I opened the passenger seat and sat down. Once I closed the door Gabe pulled out of our driveway. Then the way to the place we were going to was silent. Until Gabe broke it by saying..
"Its already 4:00 lets eat first before we get there"
"No that's ok im not that hungry" and at that exact moment my stomach growled.
"Your stomach says otherwise" he said with a low chuckle
We pulled up by McDonalds and Gabe ordered our food. We sat down and I got a double cheeseburger and Gabe got a Big Mac. Once we were done we got up and left. We didn't talk because Gabe said we needed to go to the place we were going to right at sunset.
We were driving for like 2 hours and I just couldn't stop staring out the window. New York's lights were so beautiful. We pulled up to an old park that had a few children getting ready to go home.
Gabe then stopped the car and opened his door. I opened mine and got out but was confused as to why we were here in the first place.
"Gabe why are we at a park, at like 7:00"
"Your about to find out" he said and started to climb a tree.
"Gabe are you crazy, are you trying to kill me where no one will find my body"
"No, relax Kacey just come on before its too late"
"Ughh...fine" I began climbing the tree to

I was so amazed by the lights and the building lights how it all comes together. I was still admiring the beauty that took place in front of me, when I caught Gabe staring at me from the corner of my eye.
"What is there something on me?" I said my voice shaking, I started panicking when he put his hand on my face.
"There's nothing on your face"
"Then why were you staring at me like that"
"Because you look so beautiful with the New York's lights shining on your face. It shows your inner beauty completely, and best part is there's no make up just your natural beauty taking place right now"
I blushed at his words god the things this boy does to me, I turned away and hid my face in my hands.
"Aww did I make Kacey blush again" he said teasingly
"Shut up"
"Don't worry its pretty nice to know I have that affect on you" I blushed again, not realizing his face was inches away from mine I was staring at his lips. I wish he would just kiss me already.
"If you wanted me to that badly, you should've just said so" fuck he heard me, I really have to stop doing that
"Yes you do" Shit
"Now I do recall you wanting me to kiss you correct, well lucky for you I've been wanting to kiss you ever since the day I met you" and with that he leaned in and kissed me, it was a soft and sweet kiss. We continued for about 20 seconds then finally pulled apart.
"Not to bad a kisser Diaz"
"You either hot shot" I playfully winked, and he gave me a hug then we climbed down the tree and went to the car.
The ride home was silent but a loving silence not an awkward one. Once we got home I went upstairs and into the bathroom, stripped, showered, grabbed some transformers pjs and climbed into bed.
It wasn't a while later when I felt someone climb in with me and snake their arm around my waist.
"Goodnight Kacey" and kissed my forehead
"Goodnight Gabriel" and slowly slumbered to sleep.
