Chapter 9 - Nightmares

Kacey's P.O.V.

I was in bed and looked at the time and it was 3:00am. So I decided to have a late night snack when I saw a figure sitting on the couch, the lights were off but assumed it was Gabe since he's the only other person who lives here.

"Gabe?" no answer

"Gabe?" still no answer

Instead of going to the mysterious figure that wasn't answering like they do in the movies because I'm not dieing this early. I backed up slowly to the kitchen and grabbed a knife the ones you use to cut steak. Then I walked up to the mysterious figure.

"Gabe?" still no answer 

I crept past the figure to the wall to find the light switch. When I found it I couldn't believe my eyes

"OH MY GOD, GABE NOOOOO!!!!!!!!"

I saw Gabe shot in the heart tied to the couch sitting up. I couldn't believe my eyes it was horrible. Tears at this point were streaming down my face I was screaming and crying,until I heard something.

So I quickly grabbed the knife and backed up.

"Do you really think that would work against me" the voice said

Oh my god, I know that voice anywhere, it belonged to the devil himself. My Father.

FlashBack

"KACEY GET DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT" dad said

"Yes Dad?"

"What is this on your report card"

"Its a "B"  dad"

"This is unacceptable go to your room"

"But da---"

"NOW"

I ran to my room and shut the door and cried against the wall. Then after a minute he burst into the room.

"TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES!!!!!!"

"Wha--"

"NOW!!"

I began to take off my clothes as fast as I could then backed up to the wall. My dad was naked too.

"Come here"

"But I---"

"NOW!!!!!!"

I ran to him and  then he through me in a dog style and put himself in me and it hurt so much. That's the last thing I remember  before the cops arrived and arrested him.

FlashBack  Over

"Why so speechless aren't you glad to see me" dad said

"No get away from me, why would you kill him" I said while crying

"That brat would've left you after he saw how disgusting you are" I started running to the front door but it was locked.

"Your not escaping this time" I heard the clicking of a gun and then out of no where

BANG!!!!!!!

I  got shot in the heart as well.

"W-w-w-w-h-h-h-y-y-y-y"

"You put me in jail you deserved this"

With my last breath I climbed next Gabe and held his hand with mine.

"I-I'm sorry Gabe, I-I couldn't s-save y-you, I lo-ove yo--"

BANG!!!!!!!!!

He shot my head and then I blacked out. Or at least I thought I did until I heard someone calling my name.

"Kacey!!!" the voice said. wait I know that voice anywhere, its Gabe but how

"KACEY!!!!" Gabe yelled

Suddenly my eyes were opening and I saw Gabe holding my hand with worried look on his face. I felt dry tears on my cheeks, so I quickly looked down and saw no blood, then looked at Gabe and he had no blood as well. Oh thank god it was just a nightmare.

"Kacey are you ok?"

"Yea"

"I was worried sick, you were screaming my name and yelling noooo and then you began to say something but stopped and started screaming and crying again"

"I guess it was just a nightmare" I sniffled

Gabe sat next to me and gave me hug, and that's when I broke again.

"Shhhhhh, its okay every things gonna be ok"

"I thought you were dead, I thought my father came back and shot you"

"Well obviously I'm still here ok, relax every things gonna be ok"

He started to tuck me in again gave me one last hug and then began to leave

"Wait.....Gabe"

"Yea?"

"Can you stay with me?"

"I'd be happy to" and with that he climbed in next to me and I scooted so that I was pressed on his abs, his hard abs and slowly drifted to sleep. When I felt his arm snake around me.

"Goodnight Gabe" I said as my eyes got heavy

"Goodnight Kacey" and I was off to sleep
