"I'm going to get some water," I tell Gavin, sitting up from his hold. We've been laying here naked every since we made love and now I'm starting to get thirsty.
"Okay," he nods. "Do you need me to come?"
"I think I can manage," I send him a playful smirk and he slaps my bottom as I get up. "Gavin!"
He laughs at me, enough to where I feel like I should join in, but I walk out of the room before things come to that. I make sure to add his shirt to my wardrobe also.
As I walk down the stairs, I start to think about my recent conversation with Nick and how much better I feel now. Sure, the experience itself was horribly nerve wracking, but I'm glad I did it. I feel much better now, better than I have since the incident and that says a lot.
When I finally make it to the first level of the house and towards the kitchen, I start to hear noises and wonder if Gavin was lying. I distinctively remember him saying that no one was home, did he just say that?
I stand corrected as I come face to face with two people sucking face atop the counter.
"Oh my god!" I screech and cover my eyes as fast as I can. I shouldn't have made a noise at all, I should've just ran back upstairs, but it's too late now.
"Bella?" It's Richard, I can tell just by his voice, but I don't dare open my eyes.
"Are you decent?" I question, my eyes refusing to open until I hear a response.
"Yes," he sighs and I finally open my eyes. The first place they take me is the girl standing shyly behind him. Now I feel bad. "I didn't know anyone was here."
"Me neither." I blush when his eyes take in my shirt clad body that happens to belong to Gavin.
"You and Gavin are back together?" He asks, a slight edge to his voice.
"Uh," I lick my lips. "Yeah. We are."
He nods, his eyes drifting to something behind me. I know already without even having to look that its Gavin. In which state, I'm not sure.
"Not that it's any of your business." After saying this, Gavin wraps an arm around my waist and pulls me towards his chest. Am I considered a coward because I don't want to look at my boyfriends face at the moment?
"It was just a question," Richard growls, his nostrils flaring. What's up with them? They haven't always been the nicest to each other, but what's up now?
"A question you didn't need to ask," Gavin bites back. I feel like I should step in-
"I can ask whatever the hell I-"
"Whoa," I stop them, looking between the both of them as they glare at each other. "What the heck is the matter with you guys?"
"I'll tell you what the matter is," Gavin starts, but his eyes are locked in his brother. "This piece of shit recorded us fucking."
I remember that part, and I blush from it. From pure embarrassment of being revealed in front of this random girl. The look on her face is enough to make me want to walk away.
"When will you let it go?" Richard growls out. "That was almost seven months ago. And besides, it's not like I was the one who threw it around school."
"You might as well have been," Gavin narrows his eyes. "You're a sick sonofabitch and you know it."
"Let. It. Go." Richard spits, his teeth clenched so hard I'm worried he'll break them all.
"Why?" My boyfriend asks, and then he realizes, a smirk converting his lips soon after. "You're little girlfriend doesn't know, does she?"
"I said let it go," Richard tries to act confident, but I can see his defenses unraveling. He's worried, and it hurts me to see him so vulnerable. He must really like this girl.
