When it was all said and done, it was done.
-KearabooThere was something different about waking up this morning. Maybe it's the fact that Gavin's chest is pressed against my back, or the fact that something bad is going to happen today.
You all know that feeling, the one you get when you just know something is going to go wrong. Well, that is what I'm currently going through.
A crisis.
"Morning," Gavin's morning rasp speaks in my ear. One of his hands trail down the side of my body and lands on my thigh. The realization that I am not wearing any pants excites me and Gavin apparently too. "Had I not noticed this last night?"
I smile to myself slightly. Gavin had unexpectedly showed up by my window last night. I was not expecting him, but it was a nice surprise. We talked for a bit before falling asleep, and I remember being surprised that he hadn't said anything about my attire. Now I know it was just because he didn't notice.
Should I consider this a bad thing? Is he getting bored with me that he now doesn't pay as much attention? Am I no longer as sexy as I once was?
"Guess not." I turn my body so our chests are now pressed against each other. "Should I be worried about that?"
He tucks a piece of hair behind my ear, his eyes following his movements. "Worried about what exactly?"
"You not noticing what I was wearing?" It seems silly asking, but the conversation isn't too serious at the moment.
"No," his eyes meet mine. "I was too focused on your lips."
My face reddens tremendously at this answer. I have to admit, even through the blushing, I'm relieved it's not because he just doesn't care anymore.
Is that a legitimate fear? My boyfriend getting used to how I look, and no longer finding me as attractive as I used to be?
"Really?" I tease, hitching one of my legs on his hip. He looks down at it with hooded eyes, his fingers dancing along my skin. Embarrassingly, goosebumps sprout along the trail he makes.
"Mhm," he hums, raising his eyes to mine after a second. "And all the things they can do."
I never thought it would be possible for my face to get even more red and possibly blow up, but I'm proven wrong as of now. I wonder if that's ever happened. It would make a pretty interesting news story, girls face blows up from excessive blushing due to her boyfriends crude remarks.
If it weren't for the rapid knocking on my door, I probably would've taken our conversation to the next level.
I can practically feel my face lose all its color in the matter of a second, now a huge contrast from the beet red it just was.
"Bella!" Its Hailey. I should've known it wasn't anyone in my family, they both left for work this morning.
"You need to hide," I whisper, practically falling out of the bed. Gavin sits up with a deadpan look on his face.
"You can't be serious-"
"Is that Gavin?" Hailey asks through the door and I nearly slap my forehead.
"N-no," I shakily respond. Very believable, Bella.
"I'm not dumb, Bella," Hailey sounds like she's rolling her eyes.
"Yeah," Gavin inputs, leaning against the head board, his shirtless torso on full display. "She's not dumb."
I glare at him, ready to push him out the window that's only a few feet from him, but Hailey knocks again. Begrudgingly, I walk towards the door and open it.
