Kian LawleySadly, it was time for Adrian to leave again. I only had a short amount of time with him but I cant just ask them to let me keep him longer, he has school, and activities he has to do, so I packed his bags while he was sound asleep next to Ava. Once I was finished I went downstairs and saw Grayson watching TV. I plopped down next to him.
"Hey man, you alright?"
I sighed, "How did I get so attached to Adrian and he's legit only been here for a few days."
"Well, you haven't seen him a while and you've been so happy to see him, its hard, I understand. You've missed out on so much of his life and you don't want to miss out on anymore."
"Too bad I have no choice."
Graysons eyes lit up and he turned to me. I saw him turn to me and I knew he had some kind of idea.
"What?" I asked nervously.
"He is your son..." Grayson said trying to get me to follow.
I shrugged clueless.
"You can try and get custody. Or at least get weekend visitations."
I let that idea ponder in my mind.
"I'm gonna ask for visitation rights first, and if that doesn't work I'll try and get custody."
Grayson smiled, "Well what are you waiting for? Call them!"
"Now? But it's so soon-"
Grayson rolled his eyes already dialing the number. I put the phone to my ear and a woman answered the phone, "Hello?"
"Um, hi. My names Kian, Adrian's father-"
"What?"
"The one who's been keeping Adrian."
"Adrian is supposed to be with his mother- is this Kian?"
"Yeah, and who are you?"
"Andreas cousin. How the hell did you get Adrian?"
"Andrea brought him to me, did you not know?"
"If I knew Adrian was going to be with you I would've never allowed it. I'm on my way to get him now."
"Wait what-" before anything else the call ended. I looked over to Grayson shocked.
"She thought Andrea was the one keeping Adrian, not me."
"So what happened?"
"She didn't sound too happy about that, she sounded mad, and she's coming to get him now."
"What? No!" Grayson exclaimed.
"Just finish packing up his things, I'll handle this once she gets here."

Once they got there, Andreas cousin stormed through angrily, "Wheres my son."
"He's not your son."
"Mommy!" Adrian yelled jumping into her arms. Yeah ok thanks Adrian.
"We will be leaving now." She said grabbing his bag.
"No wait." I said grabbing her arm gently.
"Don't touch me." She barked. I backed away in self defense, "I know you don't like me and probably don't trust me with my kid but I want you to know he's been doing great here. He loves the guys here, and he gets along really well with Ava-"
"Who's Ava."
"My daughter."
"You have another kid. Why would I want Adrian growing up around such a terrible influence?" She scowled.
"I've turned around okay. I'm a good dad."
"I'll take your word for it." She said about to walk out again.
"No stop." I said again, "I want Adrian to come visit on weekends."
She laughed, "Your joking right?"
"No I'm really not. And he's my son, who I've never gotten the chance to see because you and Andrea took that chance away from me. If I take that to court, I'm pretty sure they'll side with me, so make it easy on yourself."
"It's not up to you, it's up to Adrian."
I looked over to Adrian, "You had fun right buddy?"
"Yeah! Jc let's me feed Ava and daddy let's me hold Ava and Ethan and Uncle Gray are funny! I love daddy's house!"
"Boom."
She rolled her eyes looking at Adrian, "Would you want to come back? Like a lot."
"Yes!" He said with a smile.
She stared at me in defeat, "I'll think about it."
"Will you really?"
"Tell ya what, Adrian can stay one more night and I will observe. If I like what I see, you can have visitation rights."
"Deal!" I yelled.
"I'll be by tomorrow." She said setting down Adrian, "Don't blow it."
