Emaneska happily fell asleep. "Emaneska." Said the echoey voice once again. "Yes?" Emaneska asked. "I want you to do exactly what I tell you." The voice said. "Ok, I'll try." Emaneska replied. "Now, when you wake up, go into the forest by your backyard. Then I will lead you to me from there." Said the voice.

"But what if I get in trouble for leaving?" Emaneska said. "All you have to do is leave a note saying you went to find the Willow in the woods." The voice answered. "Wouldn't my parents disapprove?" Emaneska said. "Trust me, they will understand completely and you will be in no trouble at all!"

Emaneska awoke. She panicked a bit while writing the note to her parents and sister, but she was willing to listen to the magic Willow in the woods. The note read:

Dear mom, dad, and Lilly,

I had another dream last night about the Willow in the woods. The willow said to go to the forest by our backyard and it would then lead me the rest of the way. Please, please, please, pleeease don't be mad at me! I promise I will be at school by the time it starts!

Sincerely,

Emaneska.

Emaneska packed her backpack with her school stuff, A black and dark blue pencil box for her best friend Suzy since those were her favorite colors and she asked her for one, along with a bag of gummy bears. She walked to the edge of the forest.
