"See you later Willow!" Emaneska shouted as she sprinted out of the forest. "Bye!" Replied Willow. "Oh Emaneska, please oh please don't fail me." Willow said softly.
Emaneska took off. She sprinted through her yard, down the street, and all the way to school. Emaneska burst through the doors. "No no no no no AH!" Emaneska yelled. WHAM!! She ran and then slid right into the wall, then fell to the ground. Emaneska just sat there, gasping for air. She had forgotten that her shoes had no traction anymore. "Note to self, get new, better shoes..." She mumbled. Then, she realized that everyone around her was staring at her.
"How embarrassing..." She mumbled. She walked to the auditorium and unpacked her backpack. "Emaneska, are you ok?" Suzy said. "Yeah, I only ran into the wall. Why?" Emaneska asked. "Because your face is red." Suzy replied. "Oh great..." Mumbled Emaneska. "Anyway, Emaneska, I won't be at school today after first period, or the rest of this week." Suzy said. "Okay." Emaneska said, paying no mind. "Oh, and here is your pencil box!" Emaneska said as she handed it to Suzy.
Riiing! The bell rang. Oh great, I forgot to study for the stupid test! Emaneska thought. "Ok, what is the square root of eighty one?" Mr. Miles said. Emaneska raised her hand. "Yes, Emaneska?" He said. "Is it... nine?" Asked Emaneska. "That's correct, Emaneska." Replied Mr. Miles. He handed out their tests. The whole class started groaning and yelling in boredom as thdy were handed their test.
After school, Emaneska saw Lilly. "There you are! Did you find the Willow in the woods?" Asked Lilly. "Uh, yes. But it is in trouble, an it's up to me to help it." Replied Emaneska. "Awesome, can I help, can I help, can I help, pleeeease!?" Lilly pleaded. "Uh, I dunno..." Said Emaneska. "I'll... I'll...I'll do your chores for you!?" Asked Lilly. "Let me ask Willow and see if its ok. But if it is, we have a deal. Ok?" Emaneska said. "Awesome!!" Lilly said. They shook on it and pinky promised.
