Emaneska ran through the house door. "Hey Lilly! Come here for a second!" Emaneska hollard. Lilly ran to the door. "Yes?" Lilly asked. "I have some good news! Aaand... some bad news." Emaneska said. "Oh? Tell me the bad news first." Lilly replied. "Ok, the bad news is the Willow is being attacked by big thorny vines that are big, black, and ugly." Emaneska explained.
"But the good news is..." Emaneska realized how much she disliked her sister. To Emaneska, it was nothing but more bad news. Emaneska then remembered how the Willow said Lilly's heart had to be, "pure as a healthy tulip garden in May," but Lilly certainly did not have a pure heart... well, to Emaneska.
"The good news... is... " Emaneska sighed. "You can help me with the willow in the woods." Emaneska said quietly. "Really!?" Exclaimed Lilly. "Yay!" Lilly yelled. "Sh sh shhh!" Emaneska shushed. "We have about 2 hours until we hafta be home, and if mom catches me here she might think of a chore to give me! And don't forget that you will be the one actually doing them." Emaneska whispered. "Okay" Whispered Lilly.
Emaneska and Lilly went out the door. Emaneska slowly shut the door and started walking. "So how far until we get there?" Lilly said immediately as they started walking. "Oh boy, this is gonna be a loooong day." Emaneska groaned. "Are we there yet?" Lilly asked a minute later. "No." Emaneska said. "Are we there now?" Lilly said another minute later. "No!" Emaneska said.
"Are we there, NOW!?" Lilly asked again. "For the last time, no!" Emaneska said. A few minutes later, you guessed it, Lilly exclaimed. "Are we there yet? We hafta be there soon, right!?" "Ugh will you be quiet!? And for the last time, no, no, no! We are not there yet!" Emaneska yelled.
Ten minutes later Lilly was too excited to wait. "Are we there yet, are we there yet, are, we, there, yet!?" Lilly yelled. "If I gave you a handful of gummy bears would you just, shut, up?" Emaneska asked rudely. "Maaaaybe." Lilly said. "I'll take my chances." Emaneska mumbled. She handed Lilly some gummy bears. Lilly was quiet for about 5 more minutes, before she ate her last gummy bear. "Are we there yet?" Lilly asked.
