Eret
The festival. The Berkians were happy by the facing their future together alongside Dragons. As I was looking around, a familiar voice said, "Enjoying the party, Eret?" I blushed to see Astrid, wearing a beautiful dress and her hair was in a bun. "Astrid! I didn't know you were here." She laughs at me and said, "I bet that you are surprised about all of this, aren't you?" I nodded, "Yeah, it's hard to believe that Rider used to lived here in Berk." She sighs as if thinking back. "This didn't use to be like this, Eret." She said. I was confused. "What you mean? I thought you love it here." I asked her. "Well, I do. But I am really worried about Hiccup, though. He is not use to these type of things." As I was about to ask why, the Dragon Vigilante came towards us and said, "I think I owe you and your father an explaination." I looked at him and nod silently.
Hiccup
As I looked at Eret, he seemed to be overwhelmed of all of this. I couldn't blame him, I'm still overwhelm as well. Taking all the responsibility that my father left me to do is a lot to take in. As we sat down in a table in the Great Hall, Eret said, "Ok, start explaining." "Ok, well, it all started with I used to live here. I was the runt in the village and apparently things... um, what word would be helpful here?" Astrid replied, suggesting, "How about , "Uneasy?" "Uneasy, mostly because I am..." "A son of a Chief, right?" Eret guessed. "Yep. That's one way to put in. One night there was a raid and with any doubt, Toothless flew that night." Toothless said, "I guess I was still in Dragon Queen's control during that time." "It's ok, Bud. She's dead, remember? We defeated her." He looks at me, "Also you almost scared me half to death!" I laughed. Snoutlout asks, "What did he say?" "Oh, something about the Red Death." "The what?" The Riders questioned me in confusion. Yikes, I haven't told them about how I lost my left leg, ever since the great battle against Drago. "You haven't told them?" Eric asks me. I blushed and rubbed my head. "I haven't. With Berk being rebuild, I guess it slipped my mind." "Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third, you have some explaining to do!" Astrid snapped. Gee, I shouldn't make the future Mrs. Haddock mad. "Ok, Ok! I was planning of how I met Eric and the Skrills. The truth is, while I was living with my mother, we flew to a village that was been attacked by wild Dragons. Light was about to kill Eret, but luckily, we stopped it from happening." Light licked his Trainer. "So, what type of Dragon is Light?" Heather asks Eret. "Light is a Razorwhip." I chuckled, "Heather, it looks like you aren't the only trainer with a Razorwhip now." "Gee, thanks." She said sarcastically. "So, about Berk? You were the runt?" Eric asks. I nodded, "Yeah. I hid Toothless away from the village in a place I named, "The Cove". I turned to the other Riders, "That's how I was able to complete all the Dragon Training." Gobber said, "Well, that explains a lot." "We had a tradition here long ago that we killed Dragons for a living and whoever finished in top class will get the honor of killing his or her dragon in front of the whole village." Fishlegs explained to Eret about Berk's history. "Wow, that's a lot of pressure." I nodded, conuring with the young Viking, "It is, with if your father is the Chief of the Tribe. When I discovered that I was the one who um, get to kill my own Dragon, I knew it was time for me to leave." We were silent for a while then Eric said, "You left your home." "Yeah. And met you." "What about your leg and you mentioned something about the "Red Death." What's that about?"
Flashback Five years after Hiccup reunited with his mother....
"Mom, Toothless and I will go flying for a while, ok?" Valka laughs, "All right, but don't be late for dinner, son!" I replied, "I'll be fine! " Toothless and I flew through the clouds and I sighed, "Isn't this great? Just you and me and now Mom teaching us her lifestyle. What can be more dangerous than that?" Toothless said, "Hiccup, I think we-" His eyes turned to slits and was not leading me back to our home. "Toothless? What is it, bud?" I asked the Night Fury. He didn't hear me asking his question, but continue going to that direction. I was wondering what trouble I must been with Toothless. As I looked at my surroundings, I noticed all the Dragons were in the raids back at Berk were bringing their kill. "It looks like they are servants to something. But who would do such a thing?" I thought. I saw our destination and it was a big volcano Mountain isle and I realized where Toothless had brought me to. I was in the Dragon's Nest, the Nest that my father and the villagers tried to find since I can remember. "Oh, man. Toothless, you brought me to the Dragon's Nest. Why?" I asked the Night Fury. Toothless hid behind a rock, hoping not be discovered. We watched the Dragons dropping the food they were delivering. "Well, it's nice to know that all of Berk's food supply is being dumped down in a huge hole." I said, sarcastically. Toothless knew better and whispered, "Hiccup, this is serious matter. Before I met you, I was forced to do her bidding." I looked at my best friend in confusion, "Her?" Toothless motioned me to look of what he had meant. A Gronkle was one of the last Dragon giving its food but it wasn't enough. A big Dragon came out with her teeth and she seemed to be angry I was here. "Night Fury." She said with bitter anger in her voice. I knew instantly that this means trouble. "Bud we have to get out of here. Now!" We and the other Dragons flew from the mountain and we landed in our room back in the Sanctuary . I climbed out of my saddle, pacing back and forth, and Toothless asks, "Hic? You all right?" I looked at him, "Really? Do you think I am all right? That Thing is the one who controlled these innocent Dragons for three hundred years and we Vikings thought you guys are the enemy this whole time. We have to kill her." Toothless looks at me as if I was crazy, "Uh, Hic, have you thought this through? The Dragon Queen is huge! There is no way that you would defeat her!" "Toothless, I know what we need to do. Will you trust me?" He sighs as if this was a bad idea. "I hope that this would be fine."
Astrid
As Hiccup told us his flashback when he first saw the Red Death, I didn't realize that is the real reason that the Dragons had raided us for three hundred years. They were under control by a Queen, like an Alpha to do its bidding. "You were the one who stopped the Raids, by defeating the Red Death." I guessed. Hiccup nods, "You guessed it right. When Eric and Eret first heard that I was on my way to defeat her, they were shocked." Eric said, "We still are, Hiccup. You and Toothless were amazing going against a massive Dragon like that. As a Chief, I'm impressed." The young Chief said, raising his hands, "Hey, it was a team effort and I was eighteen when we met! It took me a long time to come up with a plan to defeat the Red Death, but it was worth it." "Well, it sounds like something you would do, Hic." I laughed. He grabs me, and kissed me on the lips. The Riders smiled as we kissed. When we pulled apart, Hiccup said, "Care for a dance, Mrs. Haddock?" I giggled, "I would love to." The music begins to play the music the day that Hiccup propose to me and Valka helped me with the dancing.
The villagers gathered around us and it was beautiful like it was meant for us to have this moment together and it reminds me of Stoick and Valka would've wanted, their son dancing with his beautiful fiancé before their wedding day. As the music ended, Hiccup took one look at me and touched my face. "I love you, Astrid." "I love you too, you fishbone." He remains silent as he knew that someone was watching us. "What's wrong?" I asked the troubled Viking. He reaches for his sword from his flight suit as intruders barged into the party celebration. "Who are these guys?" Eret asks as he fight a soldier. "I don't know, but stay alert for anything." Hiccup declared. Without him noticing, someone covered my mouth from preventing me to scream for help. The kidnapper hold me tightly as he possibly can as Stormfly was in a Dragon Root coma. "We got her, let's get out of here." He said. The soldiers left Berk, along with me in their ship. I finally got a grip of his hand covering my mouth and ask, "Where you taking me?" He looks at me and then said, "You are going to meet our Chief, whether you like it or not." He pushes me towards a cell and chained me up so I couldn't escape. "You will be comfortable here, my dear." I said, with anger, "Hiccup will stop you!" "Hiccup?" He asks wirh confusion as if he never heard his name before. "He's only the son of Stoick the Vast, the heir of Berk, and he's a Dragon Master that the whole Archipelagos ever known of!" I replied. He looks at me as I was crazy and said, "You are not speaking to me ever again." "You are-" I began as I bit a gag he tied on me. I breathed as he was leaving, "Goodbye." "Hiccup, where are you when I need you?" I thought.
