Rosewood police department

Emily's POV

"Can I speak to a detective?" I ask one of the officers he just looks at me and goes back to the computer "Emily fields" I hear someone says "yes who are you?" I question

"I'm detective Wilden"

"Sweet so as you can see I'm not dead I'm alive and I already know what you're gonna say I faked my death for 3 years because I was tired of being Emily fields I wanted to be alone and free I took time off got off the grid" I finish saying he just looks at me like he's reading me "hmm so I suppose you have nothing to do with Noels kahns house being on fire? It's suspicious actually you coming when Noel is missing and his house burned down"

Imma have to make this believable I fake cried "Noel?! What happened to him"

"I just told you his house burned down and he is no where to be found"

"here" he gives me tissues "thank you" I wiped my tears "where do you think he is?" I ask "we have no idea everything has been burned down
"He probably went to look for me" I told him "look for you? Whys that"

"He is my friend I wouldn't say best friends but we were close friends"

"Is that so?"

I nod "well okay then we'll do anything we can to track him down"

"Thank you" I was walking away "oh and Emily"

I turn around "yeah?"

"I'll be watching you" he says smiling "okay?"

I walked out of the building "so? How was it?" Hanna asks "made it believable" I said smiling we went in the car "so now what?"

"We're gonna keep this to our selves especially you former detective you better keep your mouth shut" I said pointing at Lorenzo "alright"

"So how was these your 3 years like?" I asked them "well as you can see Alison and I are no longer together" Caleb says I chuckle "yeah no shit"

"So why did you sleep with Noel? If you were with Lorenzo" I asked Alison I know I know dick move but who cares i want to know why "I-"

"You don't have to answer okay?" Lorenzo tells her I roll my eyes "has any of you seen Toby?" I asked "No..he kind of moved after her heard about you in the news." Hanna says "do you know where? I have to see him"

"No but I have his number on my contacts" she says handing me her phone I grab it and look for Toby

I exhaled and dialed him

Toby: hello?

Emily: Tobias I said smiling

Toby: Hanna why do you sound like Emily

I laughed

Emily: cause this is Emily

Toby: Wait what

Emily: they told me you moved after you heard about me..I uhh you should come back to rosewood I miss you

Toby: I- but you're dead I saw you in the news

Emily: meet me at mine and calebs

Toby: o-okay

I hung up and smiled "I'm seeing my best friend tonight!"

"Gee you weren't that excited when you saw us" Aria says "my emotions were everywhere but I missed you guys so much"

I ran inside my house "home sweet home" I smiled and ran upstairs to my bedroom I opened the door and see everything is just the way I left it I toss myself in my bed I'm finally home

"Is it okay if I come in?" I hear Alison say I sat up "yeah sure" she comes in and closes the door "I think you should know that I've been living here.. with Caleb"

"Living with your ex boyfriend? That's the first"

"I've been sleeping here" she says "that's cool I mean if you want to keep sleeping here you can I'll buy us separate beds"

"Are you still mad at me?"

"You slept with Noel and I think it's dumb that Lorenzo is still with you after what you did but it's whatever I'm not him he's not me"

"I've been sleeping with one of your shirts do you know that? For 3 years I haven't let anyone up here with me not even Lorenzo"

"Good I don't want him in here..so how long have you two been together?" I ask "2 years."

I widen my eyes "wow umm nice"

"Yeah..tomorrow's our anniversary"

"Cool..So not to be rude or anything but can you get out? Imma do something real quick" I said

"Oh uh yeah" she gets out closing the door I breathe out and start moving stuff around I moved my bed close to the wall so when I buy Alison's bed it'll have space in here

"So later in the day the guys are gonna bring the bed over right I need it by midnight?" I asked the worker "yes"

"Alright then" I give them my credit card

Incase your wondering I bought Alison a queen bed I felt like it wouldn't be fair if I got her a twin size bed

She gave me back the card "so when exactly are they gonna bring it "In like 5 hours or so"

"Okay thank you"

4 hours later

Emily's POV

There was a knock on the door "the beds here already?" I asked myself "what bed"

Oh shit I said it out loud well might as well say it "oh I may have bought Alison a bed so she can sleep in my room"

"You were serious about that?" She asks I nod and get the door but instead of it being the people it was Toby I smile

"Toby?"

"Emily? Oh my god" he hugs me tight "okay a little tight" I said smiling he let go "am I dreaming?"

I pinch him "ow"

"No your not" I said laughing he punches me in the arm "okay ow what was that for"

"Where were you"

I sighed "it's a long story but I'm glad I'm home..You better move back to rosewood"

"Now that you're here alive I will"

"Good"

There was another knock on the door "beds here" Caleb says

A/N: the only way imma be able to go out for Halloween is to bring my pocket knife with me cause hell no I do not fuck with clowns. 😂
