Chapter 12: Adjustments (Edited)

Three Hours Later...

Ash wakes up in the basement. She hears banging noises upstairs. It sounded like a hammer hitting a nail. She was sitting up against a pole that was attached to the roof. Her hands were cuffed behind her back and her mouth was gagged. She looks to her right and sees Cass passed out. She looks to the left and sees Axl passed out as well. Their arms were cuffed and mouths were gagged just like Ash. She drags her leg and hits Axl on the leg with it. He doesn't wake up so she hits him again. He groans then slowly wakes up, seeing his surroundings. He begins to freak out, waking up Cass. Ash calls him. He stops and looks at her. He calls out to her then tries to reach her but the cuffs stop him. He starts tugging at it.  Cass starts freaking out to. Ash looks and calls out to her. Cass stops and quickly looks at Ash. She calls out to her in relief. The banging stops upstairs. They hear footsteps going to the door so they all look at it. Ethan goes down the stairs holding a hammer

Ethan: Did I wake you?

Ash and Cass stare while Axl was glaring at him

Ethan: I'm making a few adjustments upstairs to make your stay easier for me to handle. I'm sound proofing the whole house except the rooms so I'll be able to hear everything that goes on which means. No one can hear you from the outside. Since you're all going to be living with me, there are rules to be followed but that's going to have to wait. Right now, there is an issue I need to take care of. He puts the hammer down and goes behind the pole. They hear a girl yelling. He takes the cuffs off, pulls her up, and takes her to the front of the room so everyone can see her. It was Kristine

Cass and Axl were shocked

Ethan: This is Kristine. That's right the girl that has been all over the news. She broke one of my rules so I taught her a lesson

He opens her mouth and shows them she's tongueless. Cass and Axl look away in disgust while Ash looks down. He lets go of her mouth

Ethan: Now, the rules. If you yell, scream, or even have the balls to cuss at me, I will cut out your tongues. If I catch you somewhere you're not suppose to be at or annoy me, I will cut out your eyes

Ash and Cass tear up

Ethan: If you steal from me or I catch you trying to, I will cut off your fingers one by one by one. AND if you're just being a pain in my ass where I can't stand the sight of you, I will cut off whatever I want. I will even cut off your ears if I have to. I want you all to you think what is better. Not seeing? Not hearing? Not talking? Not being able to touch and feel? Doesn't sound fun huh? So watch yourselves and behave

He takes Kristine upstairs. They all start tugging at the cuffs but stop when they hear him come downstairs. He goes over to Cass, takes the cuffs off, and pulls her up. She starts starts pulling away from him so he picks up and puts her on his shoulder while taking her upstairs. Axl looks at Ash and calls her. She looks at him. He starts talking but she can't understand what he's saying.  Ethan comes back down while Axl keeps talking

Ethan: Hey pipe it down. You'll be able to talk to each other upstairs

He takes the cuffs off Ash and gently pulls her up. He signs her to go upstairs which she calmly does

Ethan: Good you're learning

They go upstairs. A couple of minutes later, Ethan comes back and goes over to Axl. Axl glares

Ethan: We're not going to have problems; are we?

Axl doesn't take his eyes off him

Ethan: You're actually the first boy I had here so this is kind of a challenge for me. After that little stunt you pulled off earlier, I know you're going to try it again. Here's what's going to happen

He kneels in front of him

Ethan: You give me a hard time and I'll fuck your girlfriend in front of you; you understand me?

Axl just glares so Ethan grabs him by the hair. He lets out a groan

Ethan: Do you understand me?

He nods

Ethan: Good

He lets his hair go, takes the cuffs off, and takes him upstairs
