I sat at the lunch table with my girls as usual. im so irritated, iv been testing all day. Thank god its friday! " what yall doing this weekend?" i asked them.
"me and Prod going on a date " kylie smiled.
"ill be baby sitting " talor said with a stale face.
"I gotta go to the doctor on Saturday." lauren said.
" for what?" i asked her.
" um uh just a check up." she said skeptical. i could tell that wasn't the full truth but instead of calling her out on it i turned towards angel. "what about you?" i asked her.
" nothing. me and you should go to the movies or something since we aint got nothing to do." she offered.
" sorry but im busy too." i said before i popped a starburst into my mouth.
" what you gone be busy doing?" she asked me.
" im spending the night at jacob's house this weekend." i said with a smile. they all looked at me with weird looks on their faces im guessing they heard about jacob's secret.
" you still messing with that boy?" talor asked.
" umm yea. why wouldn't i be?" i asked with a attitude.
"we heard about what happened with him." lauren said.
" okay so what." i said with a shrug.
" hes dangerous!" talor shouted. i rolled my eyes.
" your so fucking quick to judge him when you don't know shit about him." i spat.
" yea well i do." angel said finally speaking up. i turned my head towards her looking at her in disgust. iv actually been pissed at her since i found out about how she turned on jacob so now is the perfect time to tell her how i feel.
" you don't even say shit. because you fucking turned on your own blood just because of some shit he did in the past. hes not that person anymore! and you would know that if you even bothered to pay him any attention." i spat.
" thats not my blood. we got the same father but different moms so in my eyes he aint shit but a ghetto ass step child. " angel said. " his poor ass mama should have swallowed." she said in a low sinister tone but that was the last straw.
i reached my hand across the table and smacked her hard in the face as the sound echoed through out the lunch room ever body turned to see what was going on. "watch your damn mouth bitch." i shouted at her. angel stood up and tried to swing back but lauren grabbed her. " fight fight fight " the kids shouted as they crowed around our table. Chresanto and his friends ran over to see what was going on.
" you keep on hanging around him and hes going to kill your stupid ass just like he did his cousin!" angel shouted and my brother knew right then who she was talking about. as i got ready to charge at her again kylie grabbed me taking me out of the lunch room. " chill out." kylie said as she fixed my hair.
" no did you hear what the fuck she said?!" I shouted. kylie sighed. " yea i did... that was fucked up." kylie said shaking her head. " to be honest i probably would have smacked her too if she said something like that about prod and his mother." kylie said in a soft tone.
i wanted to run back into that lunchroom and beat the shit out of her. i was enraged.
" look, i understand where they coming from with the whole hes dangerous part but iv known you all your life and im sure that if you said he changed then i believe you. " kylie said. i smiled. "i know you love him." kylie said with a smile. "so don't let anyone control your life... follow your heart." kylie told me. i smiled then hugged her. " i love you." i said then kissed her on the cheek. she chuckled. " i love you more." she smiled. see this is why shes my bestfriend! she understands me...
