I woke up the next morning irritated and stressed out. I stood in the mirror glancing at my graduation dress again as Jacob came up behind me placing a necklace onto my neck. I looked at how pretty it was in the mirror.
"I love it." I said lowly.
He smiled as he kissed my cheek.
"Where were you last night?" I asked as I turned to him.
"Me and the crew stopped by the club... Sorry I should have called" Jacob explained.
I nodded as I turned back towards the mirror.
"Babe, what's wrong?" He asked.
I let out a deep breath. "It's just this day is not how imagined... My brother and my parents are suppose to be here supporting me."
"Babe don't stress off them. Today is about you don't let none of that shit get to you. Me and the crew gone be there." He said as he wrapped his arms around me. "if you can't count on nobody else to have your back you can always count on me cause I'll be there." He assured me.
I smiled as I wiped my eyes to stop my tears from messing up my make up.
"You did it baby....you did what I couldn't do. You actually graduated. I'm proud." He said kissing me.
I smiled. " it's good to know that someone is." I said lowly.
He kissed my forehead. "It's their lost for walking out of your life. If they think their job is more important than you than you don't need them or your punk ass brother." Jacob said.
I nodded. "Your right.... Fuck them" I said. He chuckled and grabbed my hand.
"Let's go... I'm sure you don't want to be late." He said
I grabbed my purse as we walked out the house.
"Oh and by the way... You look beautiful." He complimented.
I smiled as we got into the truck with the crew.
"Damn lyric. "Nina said smiling.
I giggled.
"Since it's your graduation day you think you can flex like this." White boy joked.
"It's only right."I smirked.
Me and him laughed lowly as will drove to my school.
Once we pulled up I hopped out the car to go find my place.
"See you on stage." Jacob said pecking me on the lips before walking off.
"Aye y'all heard anything on chresanto?" Ron asked as they walked towards the school.
"Nah that fool just disappeared." Will said shaking his head.
"Yea and if he want to live he might as we'll stay wherever he at cause I'm on bullshit. Once I see him it's over." Jacob said as they entered the school. They was directed into the auditorium by a olderly lady.
Once they walked in people stared at them weirdly. They scrunched their noses up at the boys baggy pants and the red bandana white boy wore around his head letting it be known that he was a blood. He wore his colors every where he didn't care.
"Damn can they stare any harder?" Lesley snarled.
"This is why I don't come in the fucking suburbs" Ron said shaking his head as they sat down.
"All these rich white folk thinking they better than us." Will growled.
"These type of fuckers make me ashamed of my race." Nina said as she rolled her eyes. Yea she was white on the outside but she was black at heart. "I'd send this bitch up." Nina threated lowly.
