I had finally gotten around to seeing a doctor, Emily by my side the whole time. He confirmed that I was indeed pregnant, the numb feeling had left, and all I could feel now was panic. After hearing both Luke and Ashton say they wanted to do the right thing, I knew they had to be involved in the decision making process. For now, the only people who knew were Emily, Luke and Ashton, and I was going to keep it that way for as long as possible.

Thankfully at school people were too preoccupied with my breakup with Luke, that they didn't notice anything else going on. Luke had certainly become more popular than ever, girls throwing themselves at him wherever he went. I had even caught Lana flirting with him on several occasions. Luke hardly seemed interested in his new found popularity, and I could tell he was taking the breakup hard, and was still in shock over the pregnancy.

After school I was completely exhausted, and more than happy to fall on top of my bed and stay there forever, but my bliss was short lived before I felt a buzzing in my pocket.

I took it out, and got a glance of Ashton's name.

From Ashton: Hey, is it cool if I come over for a bit?

TO Ashton: I'm pretty tired..

From Ashton: Yeah, but I'm already here.

I rolled my eyes, and made my way over to the window. Sure enough, Ashton was standing there.

"You can use the front door you know.." I said to him.

He disappeared, and within a minute there was a knock at my bedroom door, he didn't wait for me to respond before letting himself in.

"Hey," He said smiling at me.

"Hi.." I said, I was slightly confused as to why he was here.

"I was bored." He admitted to me, before looking around my room. It had changed since the last time he was in here, "I like it," He said, mainly focusing on the corner I had set up all my art stuff.

"I got into art this summer," I explained, taking a seat on the edge of my bed.

Ashton took the seat at my desk, still scanning my room to see what else had changed.

"You're really good," he said to me.

"What?"

"At painting.." He motioned towards a few of the canvases sitting against my wall, since I hadn't gotten around to hanging them up yet.

"Oh.. thanks."

"I thought you didn't have a dream." He said, spinning himself around on the desk chair, reminiscent of a child.

"I don't.. arts just a hobby, an illusion, I guess."

"I don't know," Ashton said, "I think you can do anything you set your mind to."

"Okay drummer boy." I smirked.

He smiled at me, and then held both his hands up. I was confused at first.

"No cast." He beamed.

"Oh my god!" I said, slightly more enthusiastically then I should've, "when did that happen?"

"About an hour ago," He said, "The doctor said it should heal perfectly, and gave me a few exercises to do and stuff, but he said I should be back to drumming in no time."

My smile soon faltered. I was happy for Ashton I really was. But every time I felt happy or excited, it didn't take too long for me to remember that an actual human child was growing inside me.
