I'm walking fast through the traffic lights

Busy streets and busy lives

And all we know is touch and go

We are alone with our changing minds

We fall in love till it hurts, bleeds or fades in time

And I never saw you coming

And I'll never be the same

Wake up in the mornin' feelin like P

‎ Diddy

‎ (Hey,what up girl?)‎

Grab my glasses ,I'm out the door, I'm gonna hit this city

Before I leave brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack ‎

‎'Cause when I leave for the night, I ain't coming back.....‎

Groaning, I shut down the Kesha song I had setup as my alarm ‎tone. I looked up at my Galaxy S4 and read the time flashing on the ‎screen. It read 6:30 am. I jumped out of my bed feeling enthused ‎to start a fresh new day. I walked towards the grecian style windows and ‎pulled the curtains apart .Although the sun was not shining in all ‎its glory, its faint light, the spread of crimson across the skies ‎and the vitamin D supply made me smile. I closed my eyes and ‎thanked God for giving me such a wonderful life. This was my ‎wakeup routine, if I ever happened to miss it, my entire day ‎would be terrible. ‎

Most people thought that I had the perfect life and truthfully ‎speaking, I don't disagree with them. I had the perfect job: ‎Creative Director at Delicacies a multinational food product ‎company. It not only paid well but it also gave me a hell lot of self ‎satisfaction. I really pity those people who are caught up in a job ‎they don't give two hoots about but are doing it just for the sake ‎of money.‎

‎ I also had the perfect fiancé-Raphael Scott. He was my bestest ‎friend in the whole wide world before he proposed and I finally ‎agreed. Still, he remains my go-to guy. He was extremely ‎handsome with brown eyes, tanned skin, an athletic physique ‎and an exotic name to match. Raphael's mom wanted to name ‎her son something different and not some run-of-the mill name ‎like John, Adam, Jack, etc. No wonder she was best friends with ‎my mom who christened her daughter Bianca Bancrofti. Most ‎people thought I was Italian or something exotic like that but in ‎reality, I was just plain old American. My mom had liked the ‎name Bianca but she felt that it wouldn't go well with Thompson, ‎so she introduced Bancrofti into the equation .She got the idea from Wuchereria ‎bancrofti, a bacteria which causes Filaria. Yep! My lovely mother ‎named me after a stupid bacteria. How freaking awesome is that! ‎Note sarcasm. Thank God, it at least sounded stylish.‎

Coming back to my fiancé, Raphael. He was the MR. PERFECT ‎every girl wishes for. I had known him all my childhood and I ‎loved him, I just didn't know whether I was in love with him. After ‎reading countless romantic novels and watching endless ‎romantic movies I had started believing in the Spark Theory ‎which says, that if two people are in love or are falling in love ‎with each other, then there are sparks in between them, a feeling ‎of electricity rushes through their body and butterflies start ‎fluttering in their stomach. But, I never got to experience this ‎theory in reality. I never felt any sparks with anyone not even ‎with Raphael. The day he proposed me I was shocked, which is ‎putting it mildly.I almost had a panic attack. For a second, I thought of rejecting his proposal and ‎keep waiting for the guy with whom I would be able to feel those sparks ‎but then I realized that I was already 27.If I haven't met him till now, I ‎would probably never meet him. Maybe, this socalled Spark ‎Theory was all bullshit devised by authors and moviemakers to ‎sell their stuff. If I had to do this, then the only guy I could ever ‎do it with was the person kneeling in front of me, staring at me ‎with anticipation and looking like an innocent child. My heart ‎almost melted like chocolate and I couldn't help but laugh as I ‎accepted his proposal. ‎
