Chapter 13 Jack and baby girl

5 months later.

Emily's POV

Charlotte was getting closer to her due date and so was I. We had gone shopping many time for baby clothes and prams.We decided to make a baby nursery for the babies, one side pink for Emily and Rebecca and one side blue for Joshua. I woke up early this morning and decided to go to Nolan's for a while and let Daniel sleep because he had been working late at Nolan's new company. It took me five minutes to get to Nolan's house and I just stood in front of his house and knocked on the door.

'Ems, what a surprise!' he said.

'Hello Nolan, heard anything from Jack or Aidan? I asked and behind Nolan I saw someone standing next to the pool. 'I didn't realize you had guests?' I said.

'As a matter of fact I have heard from Jack, he is my guest.' he said pointing to the man outside.

'Nolan, what is he doing here?' i asked angrily.

'He was looking for you but it seems as if you don't want to see him? he asked.

'Obviously I don't want to see him, Nolan! I'm pregnant and marrying a Grayson!' I shouted hoping that Jack didn't hear me.

'He still loves you Ems! He has forgiven you and just wants to be with you! Just talk to him please Ems!' He loudly.

'Don't tell me what to do Nolan! I love him too but I'm with Daniel now and pregnant with his child, I can't just leave him!' I shouted.

'Ems just talk to him please!' He asked.

'okay Nolan.' i said.

I walked outside and Jack was facing the other way so he didn't know I was standing behind him.

'Jack' i said. He turned around so quickly.

'Emily, oh thank god you are here!' he said hugging me.

'What do you mean?' i asked.

'I have been looking for you every where! Then I spoke to Nolan and said you were here, I came to apologize to you , I didn't mean to kick you out of my life, it just happened because i was so angry!!' he said

'Its okay Jack, I understand!'i said returning the hug. He let go of me and took a step back.

'you look well.' he said.

'You to Jack' i said.

'How old..' he said but i cut him off.

'Seven month' I said.

'and the wedding when is that?' he asked.

'August 8th' i said.

'I don't have to come Emily.' he said.

'I want you to!' i said.

'Thanks but I would rather not come' he said.

'Okay , its you own decision. Bye Jack' I said leaving not even saying goodbye to Nolan.

I was angry! I was angry at my life , at the decisions that I have made! I loved Jack but I couldn't be with him because I loved Daniel more. I got home and headed straight to the kitchen to make toast because I hadn't eaten yet. Daniel came down the stairs looking confused.

'Where were you this morning? You weren't in the bed when i woke up.' he said.

'I decided to let you sleep so I went to see Nolan.' I said. ' Want some toast?' i asked.

'yes please babe.' he said kissing me.

'Get a room!' Charlotte said laughing.

'Oh come Char, its not like you have never seen it!' Daniel said laughing. Charlotte then let out a high pitched scream and looked down at here legs.

Charlotte's POV

I looked down at my legs to see the floor was wet. My water had just broken and I was going into early labour.

'My water just broke!' I shouted.

'Lets get you to the hospital!, I will grab you some extra clothes Char, just stay calm okay?' Emily said.

'thanks Em! Daniel! Help me to the car please! ' I shouted

'Coming Char, hang in there.' he said kissing my forehead. Just then Emily came running out of my room carrying the baby bag filled with clothes.

'right lets go' she said helping me into Daniel's car.

-----at the hospital-----

Emily and Daniel helped me out the car and a nurse came with a wheelchair.

'today is the day Charlotte! Congratulations!' the nurse said pushing me to the maternity ward.

 I got up onto the bed and my contractions started. The doctor told me to push so I did.

'just push Char! It's nearly over and you are going to be a mommy.' Daniel said trying  to comfort me but he was pathetic so Emily started talking to me.

'Just breath, deep breaths in and out in and out.' she said and then i was starting to loose my vision and i could hear sirens going off and then every thing went dark.

Daniel's POV

'Whats wrong with her! Why isn't responding! Charlotte! Charlotte! I'm here and I'm never going to leave you!' I screamed.

'You have to leave now Mr Grayson! We are taking your sister into surgery for an emergency C-section. She has lost alot of blood and gone into a a coma!' the doctor told us.

'Oh my god! NO! please help her!' i said.

'We are doing everything we can, Mr Grayson. You now need to leave!' he said taking Charlotte into surgery.

Emily and I sat in the waiting room for hours. Emily had fallen asleep on my lap and I then fell asleep. When I woke up Emily was awake she was reading a magazine.

'has Charlotte Come out of surgery yet?' i asked her.

'No she is still in there. Would you like me to go get you coffee?' She asked me.

'No, its fine Ems I'll go.' I said standing up and giving her a kiss.

We had drank our coffees in silence. It had now been twenty minutes since we had the coffee and a nurse came up to us.

'Mr Grayson? Charlotte has come out of surgery and is still sleeping but you are welcome to go see her!' the nurse said.

'Oh thank goodness! And the baby, how is she?' i asked.

'she is a very healthy baby!' she said.

'When can we see her?' Emily asked the nurse.

'you can go now if you want Miss Thorne.' she said to Emily.

'lets go see Charlotte first.' she said getting p from where she had been sitting.

'okay.' I replied getting up.

we walked to Charlotte's room holding hands. When we walked in she was just starting to wake up.

'Charlotte? You are awake. How are you feeling?' i asked her.

'I'm fine. Where is my baby? is she okay?' she asked.

'She is perfectly fine Char, would you like to see her because I can get the nurse to bring her here for you?' Emily asked her.

'Yes please!' she replied.

Emily went to go call a nurse to bring Charlotte her baby and she came back holding the most gorgeous baby in the world. Emily handed her to Charlotte.

'hello baby, its your mommy.' Charlotte said holding her. 'she is beautiful!' she said.

'What are you thinking of naming her Charlotte?' the nurse asked.

'Emily Amanda Clarke.' she said.
