Liam kept an eye on the direction that Boldir and Izzy left in.
Ulric had gotten rid of the dead demons and just in time because they heard footsteps coming from inside.
Vanora stepped outside and looked around. Her small body not taking up much space on the porch.
"How are the girls?" Liam asked still on top of the roof.
Exhausted. There asleep but Cerelia woke up because of something she heard.
"Yeah, sorry we didn't know the demons had found us." Ulric said as he came from the side of the house.
Demons?
"Yeah, why what noise were you talking about?" Liam looked down at her.
She heard a small thud that woke her.
"That's it, y'all didn't hear the growling and roaring those things were making?"
Vanora shook her cute little otter head. No, just the thud. We heard nothing else.
"Maybe Boldir also sound proofed their room." Ulric said.
"Maybe."
Something caught his attention out in the distance and relief swept over him as he saw that it was Boldir, Glen, Izzy and a deer?
Why didn't he just kill it?
A wave of dizziness suddenly hit Liam as he doubled over. His fangs sharpened to painful points and he heard the six heartbeats of the people next to him.
He took a deep breath trying to calm the thirst that was quickly taking over.
He stopped.
Listened.
He didn't know but there was one heartbeat that caught and held his attention. The easy, steady rythem somehow soothed him and he was able to calm down once again.
Although he was calm for the moment he knew it wouldn't last long. He had to eat and fast before he ended up attacking one of the girls on accident.
He checked to see where the small group was. He looked out into the distance but when he didn't see then he frowned. He heard a twig snapped, looked down and was shocked to find that they were only a couple steps away.
How long was he trying to take back control for?
Damn. He thought.
He jumped down as the group came out of the tree's. Ulric joined him. Vanora stayed on the porch but when she say the buck walking next to Glen she did (He had to admit) a cute little ooooh!
"Is he to eat?" Ulric asked as he eyed the big buck.
The buck stopped.
"No, he's an elemental." Glen said.
"Like Vanora?" Liam looked back at her.
Hmph, I am water while he is earth. We are nothing alike. Vanora stuck her nose in the air.
"Yeah, except he said the exact same thing to me." Glen smiled.
"How about that?" Ulric teased.
Shut up wolf. Vanora turned around and headed back inside the house.
So that's the water elemental? The buck asked.
"Yeah." Glen nodded.
"You all should come on this side of the fence." Liam said.
Boldir jumped over the fence. Izzy barked. Liam, Ulric, and Boldir watched the human because they were curious to see what exactly he was gonna do to get across.
Glen picked up Izzy then turned to the buck. "I won't have to carry you to, will I?" He asked.
No.
The buck jumped over the high fence in one graceful move. Glen threw Izzy up in the air as if she was made of feathers. The guys eyes grew big from shock as she flipped in the air and landed on her feet. She turned to Glen with a wag of her tail.
"Good girl." He nodded his approval.
She barked. The guys turned back to Glen just in time to see him jump over the fence as easily as the rest of them.
Impressive. They all thought.
"Guys?" A voice called from the door way. They turned to find Amethyst looking at them with an expressionless face. "Me and my sister's are hungry."
Glen stepped toward her. When she pinned him with her gray eye's he stopped. "Umm, I'm sorry but I wasn't able to find..."
I can help. The buck said cutting Glen off.
"How?" Liam asked.
The buck walked over to the side of the house and inspected the ground. The guys followed him.
The buck pawed at the earth making a small hole then he moved a few steps away and did the same thing; he did this two more times before he stepped back. He stomped the ground four times and a small green light came from the holes.
A whirl wind of leaves circled the small holes and out popped a small green bush from each one.
It grew and grew all the while the leaves following the tree's as they got bigger and taller. The braches filled with beautiful green leaves. The buck walked up to the tree trunk that was closest to him, gently rubbing his head against it whispering something.
At the top of the tree fresh, ripped fruit bloomed filling the air with it's sweet scent. The buck did this to all the tree's and everyone produced a variety of different fruits.
"Wooow."
The guys turned to see all four girls standing behind them watching the scene in front of them.
"Can we eat some." Sky asked the buck shyly.
You may. The buck nodded.
Cerelia, Roux, and Sky ran toward the tree's but they were in such an excited mood that they forgot that they couldn't touch the guys without burning them.
They ran past Ulric and Boldir each of them brushing against each of there arms. Ulric and Boldir jumped away as they grabbed onto their smoking arms.
"Sorry." Amethyst said in place of her sister's.
She walked around the group careful not to get to close to any of them.
Boldir watched as Roux looked up at an apple that was to far up, she turned away and smiled when her sister handed her a pear instead.
When the girls had gotten a hand full of different fruits they all went to the front and waited as Sky ran inside the house.
The guys watched them, Boldir sat on the porch while Ulric and Glen stood on either side of the house and Liam had aleady taken the roof. Sky ran passed Boldir holding a blanket in her arms.
