Chapter 4

  Liam, Glen, Ulric, and Boldir stared at the sight before them in the cave. The ice started closing behind them but they didnt notice.
Inside the cave was something the four of them havent seen in seventeen years.
The cave floor was covered in soft green grass and beautiful flowers of every color. Live trees lined the sides of the wall the leaves were a variety of colors from green to red to orange and even yellow.
Up above there was white snow falling seeming out of no were and softly landing on the grass but not leaving any traces. There was a light breeze blowing making the cave warm and comfortable.
It was beautiful.
It was new and everything was alive and you could even smell the snow, the flowers, the leaves, the grass.
Night had fallen seventeen years ago and everything died. Out side was a waist land of nothing even some of the animals died. Everything that survived had to do unimaginable things and because of that only the strong lived and even the strong died because there was always someone or something stronger.
Even Liam was a little scared of the demons that lurked in the darkest corners of the dead forest.
"

What the hell." Ulric was the first to break the silence.
"What is this?" Boldir looked at Liam.
"I dont know when i left it was a normal cave. Dank, dark, and humid." Liam took a step foward.
Izzy Glens dog was looking dude eyes at everything que barked happily and ran right into the grass and flowers.
"Izzy!" Glen called her but she was to busy rolling around in the lush green grass.
"Its real." Boldir walked up to a tree and ran a hand down the trunk.
"Wow."
In the middle of the cave the four glowing coffens were bright and the guys stood looking down at them.
"So these are what we have to protect?" Glen asked.
"Yeah." Liam said.
"So is it the coffens we have to guard or whats in them?" Ulric asked.
"Whats inside them." Liam looked at the other three. "She said that theyll soon come so i guess we have to wait and see."
"Damn, It would of been good if she told us what the hell 'they' were." Ulric said with a small growl.
Boldir looked around him at all the beauty sorrounding them. "It could be that whats in the coffens are people."
They looked at him. "What," Glen looked shocked. "People?"
"There probably the ones who did this." Boldir waved a hand to indicate everything around them. "How else would we explain this."
The four of them looked down at the coffens and out in the distance they heard a piercing blood curling evil roar.
They turned around to look at the wall of ice.
"What was that?" Glen asked as Izzy ran up to hid behind his legs.
"Demons." Liam, Ulric, and Boldir said together.
