The girls were in there room asleep. Vanora, Moria, and Izzy were in there with them. May and Mac had also went to there rooms.
The guys knew everyone was a little sad because Delilah and Hellion left and they didnt know how to help them through it.
They also knew the girls were mad at them again. Ulric had tried to go and talk to Cerelia again but she politely told him to go away. They didn't know what to do.
When Moria came back from her perimeter check she said she had saw something further out so now the guys were planning to go out and check what it was.
Kai and Taron decided to go. Liam and the guys stayed behind to watch the house.
Liam watched from on top of the wall as the buck and fox disappeared through the tree's. This was the first time they went out together but it didn't bother them in the least in fact it was relaxing.
Although the earth no longer grew green grass or beautiful flowers or if it never rained in the past seventeen years the elementals still loved the land.
Who is it that you love? Kai asked suddenly.
Why do you think I love someone? Taron questioned.
Because when we were talking about my angel you looked up to the third floor.
The buck was quiet for a while before he answered. If you don't mind I would rather not talk about her.
Kai nodded in understanding. They walked in silence for about ten more minutes before They heard a twig snap.
Kai sniffed the air but his senses weren't as good as the vampires or even the werewolf. He and Taron split up going in different directions.
Taron walked slowly listening to the noise around him, he heard nothing. No birds, no crickets, no squirrels. Nothing.
He kept his ears and eye's opened listening and watching for anything or anyone. He was even careful to watch out for actual humans who would try to hunt him.
He pawing at the earth trying imitating a real buck who was looking for something to eat. He stopped bent his head and listened to the earth under him and that's when he felt it.
He slowly followed the trail that had opened up for him taking him further into the tree's and away from Kai.
He wished he could call to the fox and let him know where he was headed but he didn't have time to look for him.
Every so often he would stop and listen but when he still didn't hear anything he turned to the earth. The ground vibrated and that's when he knew.
He turned and ran. KAI! He yelled knowing the things under ground wouldn't be able to hear him.
But like him they could feel the vibration above ground and hopefully they thought he was a regular animal.
KAI! He called again.
He saw the fox running toward him. What's wrong? The fox turned now running beside the buck.
We have to hurry.
Why, what happened?.
There under ground.
Who?
I don't know but there headed toward the house.
No wonder I wasn't able to sense anything.
The buck nodded as they picked up speed. While they ran Taron kept checking to see how far the creatures under ground were to them. He even tried to see how many there were but it was hard considering they were moving but by the feel of it he could tell it was quite a few of them.
The fence came into view and standing on top was Liam when he spotted them he jumped down and ran toward them.
"What is it?" He asked as he ran beside them. "I saw no one behind you."
No. Taron, Kai and Liam jumped over the fence. You wouldn't see them because... The buck bowed his head breathing hard.
Kai looked at the guys who were now around them. Whatever it is is moving under ground.
"Under ground?" Boldir repeated.
Yeah. Both the buck and fox nodded.
"SHIT!" Ulric yelled. "How the hell can we protect the girls from something we won't even be able to see." His eye's started glowing yellow a sign of his wolf coming foward.
"Won't the girls be safe inside the house?" Glen asked.
"I dont know." Liam looked over at Taron.
I do not know either.
"SHIT!" Ulric yelled again but this time it ended in a growl.
"What's wrong?" May asked as her and Mac walked out of the house.
"Something's coming." Boldir answered.
"What?" Mac asked.
"We don't know these are under ground." Glen said.
"Under ground?" May repeated Boldir's question.
"Yeah." Liam nodded as he ran his hand threw his long silver hair. "Go wake the girls."
"No need." Amethyst, her sister's and the two elementals walked toward them. "What happened?" She asked as she stopped in front of the group.
"We have to get yall to safety." Glen said as he looked at Sky.
"Why?" She asked with a frown.
"We don't know what but something is coming."
There here already. Taron said.
Everyone looked down afraid to move because they didnt know were those things were.
Don't move right now their spreading out. They could feel the vibration you make when you move so stay still. Taron whispered.
"Can they track us with our voices to?" May whispered.
I don't know but its best to not chance it.
Moria flew up into the sky and gasp. She was knocked down by one of the bat- like creatures.
Before she hit the ground she righted herself and screeched as she flew after the one who attacked her.
Moria killed the one that had attacked her and they watched as it fell to the ground. When it hit a hole opened up and what looked like a goblin came out and ate threw the flesh of the corpse.
The girls gasp as more joined the first one. "Oh my..." Roux covered her mouth as the small goblins looked her way.
Their eye's were white, they had two rows of sharp teeth, their ears were long and pointed at the top, there skin sagged and it was a sickly green color, and their nails were long and covered in dirt.
One goblin picked a piece of flesh from the corpse and ate it as it stared in their direction. The goblin shrugged it's shoulder and continued eating.
Everyone looked at each other communicating with their eye's that the goblins were blind. Another creature fell from the sky it wiggled trying to get up but Moria had ripped it's wings. Holes formed around the creature and goblins came up out of the ground and started eating the creature alive. The bat- like creature let out a gurgled scream before a goblin ripped out it's tongue with it sharp teeth.
